J6 Committee Members Face Judgment Day–Their Midterms Fate Has Been Decided

Many House Democrats put all their eggs in the “January 6” basket. They joined Nancy Pelosi’s “commission” which was designed to frame Donald Trump for the Capitol Riot. It seems they assumed their work to undermine the former president would help their re-election chances. But, as it turns out, voters don’t go to the polls over a man who isn’t in office.

The results of the midterm elections will be debated and dissected for days, perhaps weeks, to come. Both parties will declare “victory,” even though Republicans scored critical wins nationwide. And two Democrats learned the hard way that supporting Pelosi’s witch hunt was a bad idea.

Two Democratic seats of members of the January 6 committee [were] flipped to Republican challengers in Tuesday night’s midterm election in Florida and Virginia.

Cory Mills, an Army veteran-turned-defense contractor defeated Democrat Karen Green in Florida’s 7th Congressional District with 58.54 percent of the vote at the time the race was called. Mills will fill a seat vacated by Democrat Stephanie Murphy who served on the committee and announced her retirement from Congress…

Well, look at that. Democrats that served on Pelosi’s bogus commission lost their seats to Republicans. Both seats were flipped red after these Democrats served on the J6 committee designed to manipulate voters.

Stephanie Miller served for three terms in Congress. But she suddenly announced her retirement after working with Pelosi on her commission. Gee, why did she do that? Because she realized, too late, that her work to undermine Donald Trump–while ignoring voters’ concerns–was a losing strategy. She vacated the seat, paving the way for Mills’ victory.

But even more surprising was the race out of Virginia. Rep. Elaine Luria thought she was safe, even though she served on Pelosi’s commission. In a shock upset, Republican Jen Kiggans took the seat from the Democrat, adding to the GOP’s presence in the House.

There is a lesson in all this for Democrats. But they aren’t going to learn it. For over two years, many House Democrats have ignored the crises hurting America. Instead, they wasted time and money on a pointless commission, thinking that would be enough to win over voters.

House Democrats did little to confront Joe Biden, even as he stumbled again and again. They refused to address inflation, high gas prices, the open border, and many more issues. So, voters were forced to send them a message.

Maybe they’ll learn… one day.
