When Joe Biden entered the White House, the country was on track to recover from the lockdowns. But, almost immediately, Biden started spending money like a drunk prom date with daddy’s credit card. He flooded the economy with new money, dramatically lowering the value of the dollar.
But he was not done yet. He shut down American oil production, to force the price of gas to rise so Americans would switch to electric cars. Then, he did absolutely nothing about a crippling supply chain that kept much-needed goods on boats. Last week, Biden ignored all these sins and claimed prices were “coming down.”
The Consumer Price Index in January increased by 6.4% compared to the same time last year, in what was the highest inflation numbers since October 2022, the Labor Department said Thursday.

Did you really need this report to know that prices continue to go up? Most Americans can’t even afford eggs, for crying out loud. Car prices are still high. Gas is still high. Many Americans can’t even go out to buy a burger.
Yet Biden lies through his teeth and claims the economy is good. Oh, we added 500,000 jobs last month? I Bet Biden didn’t tell you many of those jobs went to immigrants, both the legal and illegal variety.
The economy is a mess. Only Joe Biden and his Democrats refuse to admit this.
Biden continues to spend money he doesn’t have, ignoring all the warning signs of recession and much worse. The debt ceiling has been reached twice in two years. Yet Biden keeps licking his ice cream, pretending nothing’s wrong.
Well, we won’t have to wait until he’s out of office to see all this implode. Biden is sitting on a powdered keg of inflation, reckless spending, impending war, a crumbling infrastructure, and infiltration by China.
And he does nothing about any of this. He just sits back and expects the media to cover his tracks. As if we are too stupid to see that the country is on fire.
