After Biden Dodges Super Bowl Moment – Trump Offers Winning Alternative

In a matter of days, the world will sit down to watch the Super Bowl. Millions of Americans come together to celebrate this event—as if it were a major holiday. One tradition that has been embraced for several years has been an interview with the president, just before the game.

But last year, President Biden declined to do an interview with Fox—which was airing the game. And, to the surprise of no conservative, the struggling Democrat has declined an interview with CBS.

This will no doubt prompt his critics to accuse Biden of hiding from the media. The president has long avoided interactions that are not carefully controlled by his administration. Now, former President Trump is providing an alternative that would be “ratings gold.”

After learning that President Joe Biden had declined the traditional Super Bowl Sunday interview offered by CBS News, former President Donald Trump announced that he would be happy to step in and give an interview in Biden’s place.

Trump shared a post on Truth Social, promising “RATINGS GOLD” if the network would consider giving him the interview slot.

Donald Trump took to TRUTH Social to say that CBS should interview him instead of President Biden. Trump bashed the ailing Democrat, who has been showing signs of possible cognitive decline for years. The Republican said Biden “can’t put two sentences together.”

Many Americans will no doubt agree that is the reason Biden is declining the interview. This is an election year. Biden is fighting to stay in power. An interview before the biggest sporting event of the year would be a no-brainer.

Yet, for some reason, Biden is declining to appear before a captive audience of American voters. Why would his campaign pass on something that major? Only, perhaps, because Biden’s interactions with the media have been carefully controlled by his handlers.

Biden has an inconvenient habit of saying things that damage his image. From racial slurs to insensitive comments about women, Biden can’t be trusted to speak when a script isn’t in front of him. And, if critics are right, the man’s been losing cognitive ability for years.

An interview that will be seen by most of America would expose Biden to more scrutiny than necessary. The White House appears to be engaged in a gaslighting campaign to convince Americans that Biden is fine, the economy is amazing, and we are not on the verge of WWIII. That illusion would be shattered if Biden is forced to do an unscripted interview.

Would Trump’s appearance, though, be “ratings gold”? Trump does have a way of attracting many eyeballs, both of supporters and haters. But considering this is the biggest television event of the year, it is likely CBS doesn’t need to interview him for the ratings.
