After Biden Refuses to Help Stranded Americans – GOP Lawmaker Makes Heroic Trip

As we’ve reported, the nation of Haiti is falling to a violent, widespread gang war. Lawlessness is rampant throughout the country, as the government struggles to maintain peace and safety.

We learned that there are numerous Americans stuck in the country. One group of missionaries reached out to Biden’s State Department. But the U.S. government refused to lift a finger to help them.

That wasn’t good enough for several Republican lawmakers in Congress. After receiving a plea for help from an American-run orphanage, they mobilized an effort to help them. And, as Biden claimed he couldn’t do anything, this one GOP lawmaker once again swooped to the rescue.

Florida Representative Cory Mills has stepped up yet again to help his fellow Americans stuck overseas in times of crisis, this time conducting an independent rescue mission in Haiti with the help of Michigan Representative Lisa McClain.

The Republican congressman and his team managed to bring ten Americans working at an orphanage in Port au Prince back home, including author Mitch Albom, who has run the institution since the 2010 earthquake and was visiting at the time. [Source: The Post Millennial]

Author Mitch Albom runs Have Faith Haiti Orphanage in Port au Prince, Haiti. He and nine over Americans were visiting the facility when the gang war broke out. They, like other Americans, were stranded after the gangs captured the airport.

Despite the dangerous circumstances, Republican Reps. Lisa McClain and Cory Mills were able to airlift them out to safety. While Biden refused to send help, claiming to was “too dangerous,” somehow this one congressman was able to send a helicopter and get these Americans back home.

Rep. Mills blasted Joe Biden’s pathetic cowardice and inability to do anything in the service of Americans in need. Mills claimed that “under President Biden’s leadership American lives are continually jeopardized.”

Americans need to ask why was Mills able to do this, with limited resources and help—while the entire federal government couldn’t even pick up a phone.

The answer is obvious. Leaders like Mills and McClain actually care about American citizens. Regardless of their politics or views, these lawmakers stepped up and helped Americans facing life-threatening danger.

Yet time and again, we’ve seen Biden turn his back on Americans, especially those he considers conservatives. The vile depths this administration will go to hurt its political enemies, including Americans, while helping its political allies (mostly foreign nations) is despicable.

President Biden and his crooked team of progressives don’t care about Americans, plain and simple.
