Democrats twisted the knife in Americans’ backs by passing Joe’s latest tax and spending bill. The falsely named “Inflation Reduction Act” will in no way reduce inflation. Instead, it will raise taxes on everyone, including families earning less than $200,000 a year. It will also tax the fossil fuel industry, increasing energy costs for everyone. And it will increase taxes on corporations, leading to layoffs, outsourced jobs, and higher costs.
Senate Democrats passed this bill without a single Republican vote. They took advantage of the reconciliation loophole, getting Kamala Harris to cast the tie-breaking vote. Now, Republicans are saying the left will pay the price for raising taxes, this November.
Republicans on Sunday heaped scorn on Democrats for passing a multibillion-dollar economic package, warning that it would come back to haunt them in the November midterms.
“Democrats will pay the price in November for raising taxes on families during a recession,” Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said in a statement…
“The Schumer-Manchin bill will drive up inflation and prices, hammer small businesses and American manufacturing, increase the price of gas, and sic the IRS on Americans, all while raising taxes on Americans in nearly every tax bracket including those who make less than $400,000 a year,” Cruz said in a statement.

Republicans blasted Democrats for raising taxes in the middle of a recession. As inflation robs Americans of their wealth, Democrats did the exact opposite of what will help. They are throwing billions at their “green” energy buddies while ensuring foreign interests benefit from the jobs that will be shipped overseas.
Meanwhile, Americans will lose their jobs, watch their salaries shrink, and suffer increased costs and higher taxes.
Republicans promise that Democrats will pay the price in the upcoming elections. While Americans fear for the economy, Democrats raise taxes. How does that make sense?
Perhaps Democrats know they are doomed. And, instead of trying to win voters over, they passed a bill that will help them cash in as much as possible—before losing Congress. Ship as much cash over to their allies in the green sector, so they will reward these outgoing lawmakers with nice kickbacks?
We can’t know for sure, but we do know Democrats did not pass this bill to help Americans. This was a calculated move to enrich their elitist allies, no question.
The real question is, will voters actually make them pay? Or will some states continue to reward Democrats, who never fail to rob Americans blind?
