It’s no secret that Democrats are trying to push some of the most extreme environmental policies we’ve ever seen. We’ve already experienced the damage caused by Biden’s green agenda.
His war on U.S. fossil fuels has sustained years of inflation, hurting American families nationwide.
But Biden is far from being the only Democrat pushing Marxist-style environmental laws. Several blue states have conspired to punish fossil fuel companies with radical fines and fees. These extreme demands would hurt energy availability to many more states. So now, Republican leaders are taking it all the way to the Supreme Court.
Alabama is spearheading a coalition of 18 Republican-led states in a federal lawsuit against five Democrat-run states, alleging the latter are trying to coerce the former into complying with strict climate-conscious policies that could imperil their residents’ access to affordable energy…
“If the defendant states’ laws have their desired effects, fossil fuel energy companies across the nation will either be hit with massive damages or have to change their policies directly. And, those defendant states will affect the availability of cheap, affordable energy in our states,” he said.

Eighteen Republican states have turned to the Supreme Court to end radical green policies from a handful of Democrat-run states. California, Connecticut, Minnesota, New Jersey, and Rhode Island have pushed green policies that impede the production of electricity.
They are going after fossil fuel companies, suing them for “damages.” These blue states are accusing fossil fuel companies of hurting the environment, demanding money from them. This would further cripple the energy industry, forcing millions of Americans to pay higher prices for electricity.
Democrats who push far-left environmentalism don’t seem to realize what they are doing. “Green” sources of energy have failed to meet America’s high demand for electricity. Only fossil fuels can provide the energy the country needs. Yet Democrats seem hell-bent on punishing fossil fuel companies, driving them to the brink of collapse.
Where would that put America’s energy needs? In the hands of foreign countries, who continue to produce fossil fuels. Democrats are driving up energy costs for Americans while shipping our wealth to foreign nations.
They couldn’t have hurt Americans more unless they were trying.
