After Elon Fired Top Liberals at Twitter–Signs Point to a Bloodbath at Woke Company

Elon Musk has owned Twitter for just a few days and already major changes are taking place. This news has greater impact than you might think–even if you don’t use the blue social network. If Musk is good to his word to restore free speech on Twitter, it will force its competitors to do the same (or face major losses as users flock to Twitter). Musk’s changes to this social network could mean that conservatives can, once again, voice their opinions without fear of being “canceled.”

Already the billionaire cut the dead weight from the company. Not only did he fire the most woke of them all, but he handed the social network’s software to his own engineers, locking out the leftists who previously ran it.

Following his takeover of Twitter, Tesla CEO Elon Musk reportedly had Tesla engineers review Twitter’s software code and prevented Twitter engineers from making further changes…

As part of his takeover, Musk fired top executives including CEO Parag Agrawal, CFO Ned Segal, and Vijaya Gadde, head of legal policy, trust, and safety. The company’s general counsel, Sean Edgett, was also let ago according to sources and all were promptly escorted out of the company’s offices in San Francisco. [Source: Breitbart]

Vijaya Gadde was the woman notorious for banning then-sitting President Donald Trump. She also interfered with the 2020 Election by blocking stories about Hunter Biden’s laptop–claiming it was Russian disinformation.

Musk fired the top leaders of the company–but not just for their anti-free speech views. The once-popular social network has lost major market share in recent years. The blame must be put on the people who had the power to change that, but prioritized pushing woke ideology and the protection of Democrats.

But Musk is far from finished.

New Twitter CEO Elon Musk is reportedly set to cut up to 50% of the work force at Twitter after taking over the company late this week, and layoffs are expected to begin as soon as this weekend.

The New York Times reported that Musk “ordered the cuts across the company, with some teams to be trimmed more than others,” adding that “some managers [were] being asked to draw up lists of employees to cut.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Musk could fire as many as 7,500 Twitter employees. It would be easy to assume this was due to the website’s low performance. Any company owner should cut the fat to help make a company profitable.

But let’s face the facts. Twitter has become a hellhole of hateful liberals who attack and vilify conservatives. Once, it was a great platform for journalism and free expression. If Musk is to restore Twitter to its former glory–ushering in a free speech revolution online–he needs to clean out the company to bring it to balance.

If we assume that nearly 100% of the company is liberal, then Musk needs to get rid of at least half and replace them with people who have more diverse viewpoints. At least, people who do not believe in silencing users’ free speech.

Is this the start of a change that can save Twitter and turn around all of social media? Maybe. But the woke mob won’t go down without a fight.
