At this point, nobody should believe disgraced Rep. Liz Cheney is a Republican. The woman voted against Donald Trump in the aftermath of the 2020 Election. Even after facing censures and rebukes from her own party, she continued to contradict Republicans. She gladly joined with corrupt Democrat Nancy Pelosi to lead her bogus J6 Commission. And even in the face of losing her re-election bid, Cheney continued to prop up the left’s toxic agenda against America.
Trump was probably right. Cheney is just another D.C. swamp dweller who wants us engaged in endless wars overseas. Cheney has not repented of her betrayal of the GOP. In fact, she spent hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to meddle in an election in another state. She campaigned against the Republican candidate, to help a Democrat’s chances.
So, the Republican challenger gave Liz the bad news.
Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake on Friday fired back at Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney’s attack ad, with a letter sarcastically thanking her for causing donations to “skyrocket.”
Cheney, who lost her GOP primary election to Harriet Hageman in August after losing much of her base due to her devout never-Trumpism, spent $500,000 from her new PAC, The Great Task, to tell Arizona voters to ditch pro-Trump Lake…
Hours after the ad aired, Lake released her fiery response…
“Your recent television ad urging Arizonans not to vote for me is doing just the opposite. Our campaign donations are skyrocketing and our website nearly crashed from traffic as people rushed to learn more about my plan to put Arizona first and join our historical political movement.” [Source: The Post Millennial]
Wow. According to GOP candidate for Arizona governor, just hours after Cheney aired her ad, support for Lake skyrocketed. Although Cheney spent $500,000 to slander Kari Lake, according to her campaign donations jumped and her website almost crashed. It seems folks in Arizona, disgusted by Cheney’s attack, were strongly motivated to support Lake instead.
Lake released a letter to Cheney sarcastically thanking her for the “support.” It is very possible that Republicans in Arizona hate Cheney as much as Republicans in Wyoming. Seeing a so-called Republican spend that much money to help a Democrat–at a time when Americans are angry at Democrats–must have pushed them over the edge.
It was a massive strategic miscalculation on Cheney’s part. And it further underscores just how delusional this fake Republican is. Why did she think she could win over voters in Arizona, after losing her race in Wyoming? This woman has zero credibility among voters, especially Republicans. Yet she is so stuck in the D.C. bubble (or is so arrogant) that she thought she could make a difference in another state.
This should only motivate Americans to vote against corrupt, D.C. insiders. Be they Republican or Democrat, they are not on the side of the average American. They are completely out of touch with us. And, if they had it their way, Joe Biden would do even more damage to our country.
