America’s Top Gun Grabber Has A New Strategy (And It Might Work)

In the 2020 Dem. Party’s primary, Francis “Beto” O’Rourke had many bold statements meant to excite the Dem. voting base, but like a lot of politicians, the dem. from El Paso was completely wrong about the attitudes of the party and ended up seeing his star go away very quickly.

O’Rourke’s campaign was over with a whimper and very few people cared. Remember this was after he had lost Ted Cruz’s senate seat in an extremely high-profile and very costly race.

One of the strong statements that O’Rourke made in his attempt at the White House was the famous stupid promise of “hell yes, we are going to take your AR-15,” a sentence that even Dem. lawmakers wish he had not said, fully knowing that it would not play well for most of the country. He was not wrong, Dems. want to do exactly that, but they had rather not say it that way. They want a more subtle and soft approach to tyranny.

But O’Rourke is now running in Texas again, For the governorship this time, against Greg Abbott. At this time, Abbott is keeping a double-digit lead over O’Rourke at eleven percent in a state that still has a dark shade of red even with the interstate immigration from the unsuccessful blue states to the literal and figurative greener grass of Texas.

With the popular red state now in his hope of achieving again, O’Rourke looks to have changed the kind of leftist he was on the U.S. stage and has become a more moderate Texas Dem. politician. As reported by The Reload, O’Rourke does not want to take guns away from people. In fact, he is now a Second Amendment defender:

“I am not wanting to take anything from anyone,” O’Rourke told his supporters in a campaign stop in Tyler, Texas this week. “What I want is to make sure we defend the Second Amendment.”

Voters on both sides have got to be confused as to who O’Rourke really is at this point. Is he the radical leftist who wanted to take away everyones firearms, even where he is willing to send police enforcement door to door to collect the legal guns of citizens or is he the moderate Dem. who wants to defend the rights of people to own firearms and does not want to take anyone’s guns at all?
