It’s no secret that the economy has been suffering thanks to Joe Biden. The socialist “president” has been raising taxes and burning through cash. That’s a surefire way to destroy the economy and plunge millions into poverty. Worse than that, nobody within the Biden administration is smart enough to make the right decisions to ensure a healthy economy.
Biden and his team are imbeciles who have zero leadership experience. The result is a failing economy and a growing recession. Big companies are already laying off thousands, with more to follow.
But one state has defied the odds. It has ensured a strong economy, even as Biden bent backward to hurt us. Big surprise, it is being run by a Republican.
Job gains have continued in Florida for 30 consecutive months, new labor data shows.
Florida’s seasonally adjusted total nonagricultural employment was 9,542,500 in October 2022, an increase of 36,400 jobs over the month. The Sunshine State gained 457,400 jobs over the year, an increase of 5%, higher than the national rate of 3.6% over the year…
Florida lost 1,282,500 jobs from February to April 2020 and has since gained back all jobs lost, adding 1,749,500 jobs…
Florida’s unemployment rate of 2.7% is also lower than the national rate of 3.7%, and has been for 23 consecutive months, according to state data. [Source: Just the News]
Well, look at that! While the rest of the country (especially blue states) is crumbling, Florida has experienced 30 straight months of job growth. During the COVID hysteria, it lost 1.2 million jobs. But the governor quickly reopened Florida in May 2020 and since then, it has gained all those jobs back and then some.
Florida has continued to see job growth over the last two years–despite COVID, mandates, lockdowns, inflation, high gas prices, and the rest of Biden’s attempts to ruin America. How is this possible?
Because Florida is being run by leaders who know what they are doing. From the very start of COVID, DeSantis defied the left and kept the state open. He refused to do what other governors were doing (even Republican governors), encouraging normal, everyday life, with as few restrictions as possible.
His administration focused on protecting the most vulnerable but kept businesses, schools, and churches open. That ripple effect helped the state thrive, while others suffered. Americans flocked to Florida to vacation because, unlike other states, it was open! That also resulted in record numbers of Americans relocating to Florida, to get away from blue, lockdown states.
Since COVID, the state has continued to thrive, bucking liberal policies that hammer businesses. DeSantis rewarded police, increasing their pay while other states defunded them. He ramped up port cities, to welcome shipments and help the supply chain. Even when a historically bad hurricane hit the state (just a month ago), Florida bounced back strong.
Very few states can boast this kind of success, because their governors and leaders are worthless. Democrats put themselves ahead of Americans and the results are chaos, rampant crime, and misery.
The rest of the GOP needs to learn from Florida if they want to succeed at all.
