At the moment, the liberal media is trying to spin the midterms as a victory for Democrats. Because a “red tsunami” didn’t sweep over the country, Democrats are chalking this up as a win. It seems to escape their notice that Democrats lost many critical races–and Republicans won more than they.
But it seems Joe Biden has become defiant. Even though he’s in for two very hard years, he is becoming more arrogant than we’ve ever seen him. He doesn’t fear investigations against him and his son–despite Republicans winning the House. And he’s determined to run for president in 2024, even though he will be over 80 years old.
Reality is setting in very fast, though. And Biden is learning that his failed presidency continues to hurt Americans.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose 7.7% between October 2021 and October 2022, according to a Thursday report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics…
A 0.6% surge in food prices and a 0.8% increase in shelter prices contributed to the headline number as energy prices reversed their downward trajectory to surge 1.8%…
The average household primarily using natural gas for space heating will spend $931 on power from October to March, marking a $206 increase since last year, according to a winter fuels outlook from the Energy Information Administration. [Source: Daily Wire]
Biden and Democrats will try to spin this as a win since the month-to-month increase in inflation is lower than it was in September. But prices are still much higher than they were a year ago. And the only “improvement” has been a 2.4% drop in used vehicle prices, which is hardly a win when people can’t buy groceries.
Energy prices will be abnormally high this winter. Experts are predicting Americans will spend on average $931 on power, thanks to Biden’s refusal to allow America to drill for oil. That’s a jump of $206 from last year. Does the average American really have extra cash to spend on heating, when everything else remains expensive?
Biden vowed he will change nothing. Big surprise. This failed administration never intended to improve its decision-making, even as it triggered one crisis after another. Even as they lose the House and perhaps the Senate, Democrats will keep pushing radical policies that hurt Americans.
That’s because they no longer care about the American people. Their strategy is focused on getting as many votes as possible during election cycles. Then, once the dust settles, they ram their radical agenda through–to get as much power and money for themselves as possible.
Even as Americans suffer (including those who voted for Democrats), the left will turn a blind eye. So long as they and their donors are happy, the rest of the country can burn.
That is why even if a red tsunami swept over the country, Biden would remain defiant. He is a corrupt puppet, serving the interests of the ruling liberal elite.
The only way things improve is if Democrats are taken out of power for good.
