Nobody can predict the outcome of the 2022 Midterm Elections. But in the days and weeks prior to the big day, a shocking shift has taken place in the polls. Formerly “safe” races for Democrats turned into “toss-ups.” Even in deep blue parts of the country, Democrats panicked as it looks like Republicans have a good shot at taking over.
That is even happening in the most unlikely of places, New York State. The sitting governor, Kathy Hochul, fell into the job after Andrew Cuomo resigned in disgrace. And she has done a bang-up job… of making New York worse. Her support for crime and a broken economy has helped Republican challenger Lee Zeldin, who just might win the race.
So, what does a clueless Democrat do when faced with losing? Turn to Joe Biden!
President Joe Biden is set to campaign for Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul in New York Sunday amid panic that she may lose against Republican Lee Zeldin.
Biden scheduled a campaign event with Hochul Sunday afternoon in Yonkers, according to a report from WNYC radio’s Capitol Press Room. The event is one of several high-profile stumps Biden has made for Hochul, and the latest rally that the incumbent Democrat has held with leading faces of her party. The event also comes amid reports of panic among Democrats that Hochul may very well lose to Zeldin on Tuesday. [Source: Daily Wire]
Lol, why does Hochul think that Joe Biden, of all people, is going to help her? Biden has the worst approval rating of any president in the last 70 years. He is hated by Americans of all shapes and sizes. He’s failed to get anything (good) done in the country. From all accounts, he will end up a lame duck before his term is over.
Many Democrats don’t want to be near him. It’s his very failures that are ensuring the party’s collapse this election. Yet Hochul, clearly out of touch with the country, thinks this rotten old turd is going to save her campaign?
Keep in mind, Hochul is losing because of her failure to lead the state. She supports radical policies that have put criminals back on the streets. She’s gone to war with the Supreme Court to outlaw the Second Amendment. She has neglected the economy as taxes and high costs of living combine with inflation to make New York impossible to live in.
She’s even insulted Americans who have had no choice but to leave the state, saying “good riddance, they don’t belong.”
From all appearances, she is a worse governor than Michigan’s Gretchen Whitmer or California’s Gavin Newsom–and that’s saying something!
If Hochul loses, it will be because she is a terrible governor. Bringing in Biden is only going to speed up that process. She is admitting she supports a man who violated our constitutional rights, gave Afghanistan to terrorists, is welcoming drug cartel members into our country, shut down our energy industry, and continues to ship billions of our money overseas.
