During Biden’s State of the Union address, he tried to take a victory lap on the U.S. economy. He claimed he inherited a mess when he entered office in 2021. But, thanks to his leadership, America’s economy is the “envy of the world.”
That’s true, if you limit the world to the corrupt South American countries that are shipping their citizens here.
But the fact remains that Biden is driving the U.S. economy into the ground. For years, he’s ignored the obvious signs of decline. His reckless spending, open border, crime epidemic, and war on fossil fuels have all contributed to a weak and dismal economy.
And just as he tries to take credit for America’s “recovery,” a major problem comes back to bite him in the ass.
American households were hit with a second month of rapidly rising prices in February, undermining the Biden administration’s claims that its policies were reducing inflation and dampening hopes for a Fed rate cut in the next few months.
The consumer price index rose 0.4 percent in February, faster than the January increase and the fourth consecutive monthly increase. Compared with 12 months earlier, the headline index is up 3.2 percent, a larger increase than the 3.1 percent annual gain recorded in January…
The rise of inflation in February casts doubt on the idea that the pace of price increases will continue to decline. The data make it more likely that Fed officials will hold off on cutting rates until this summer and possibly longer. [Source: Breitbart]
Just days after Biden bragged that he “saved” the economy, the painful truth set in. Inflation is back with a vengeance. For the last four months, prices have continued to rise. Everything from gas to eggs is more expensive.
This is a direct result of Biden’s policies, which have shuffled wealth from working Americans into the hands of the ruling elite.
Biden’s open border is largely to blame. Over seven million illegal aliens have entered the country. They are taking jobs, homes, and resources that should be going to Americans. Illegals drive down wages and drive up the prices of everything else.
On top of that, Biden has not allowed American companies to resume drilling for oil and gas. We are forced to buy energy from foreign companies, who can restrict supply at a moment’s notice. Gas and electricity prices continue to remain high, resulting in high costs for every industry.
The bleak economic climate even has companies pulling back on hiring. Biden’s “envy of the world” economy is so bad, that not even people with college degrees can get good employment. There are far too few jobs to meet the demand of millions of workers. Which will only drive salaries further down.
Inflation is just one symptom of a sickness that is coming straight out of the White House.
