Biden Has An Embarrassing “Ron Burgundy” Moment

President Joe Biden has now had a Ron Burgundy moment this Tuesday as he read the words “end of quote” off his teleprompter during the address about gas prices.

Biden announced that his White House had met with major retailers, including TJ Maxx and Walmart, in order to deal with the supply chain crisis by moving goods in and stocking store shelves more quickly. During this TV segment of his address, Biden is heard reading the phrase “end of quote,” apparently from the teleprompter.

“You might have heard the CEO of Walmart yesterday on the steps we have taken, he said and I quote ‘the combination of private companies and government partnering together has been very successful.’ He went on to report that ‘All the way through the supply chain there is a lot of innovation because of the actions we have taken have started to change…’ end of quote.”

It seems that Joe Biden tried to end the quote by McMillon included within the address.

Ron Burgundy, a character that was played by Will Ferrell in the 2004 comedy “Anchorman,” commonly read from the teleprompter while reporting the news.

Biden addressed the gas price spike, now reaching as high as $3.79 for one gallon. To lower these prices, the president has decided that 50 million barrels of oil should be released from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) as the time period of high gas prices and inflation continue.

The president said his “work to fight climate change” is not leading to the rise in oil and gas prices and addressed his White House’s goal to build job openings in batteries and solar panel heat pumps. The use of electric cars will allegedly save Americans $800-$1000 in fuel this year, President Joe Biden said.

Biden canceled the Keystone Pipeline XL construction shortly after taking office, a decision that removed around 11,000 good paying jobs.

This comes at a time when Biden’s White House has struggled to maintain the same economic growth as Donald Trump had during his presidency. Many experts say that Biden’s controversial Build Back Better program has led to the inflation that Americans are now experiencing.
