Is there no end to Biden’s bizarre gaffes, rants, and misstatements? The man is like a walking meme machine.
Endlessly confounding, but hardly fit to lead a country.
Just the other day, we had to watch in horror as Biden struggled through another town hall. He often failed to finish his own comments. He couldn’t even finish simple thoughts, getting derailed again and again.
More than a few Americans wonder about his mental health. Yet Democrats are either too stupid to see it, or too cruel to do anything about it.
Once again, we see Biden’s unsettling mental state on display. A reporter probed him about the Democrats’ years’ long agenda to defund the police. Everyone knows that major Democrats across the country have, in fact, slashed major police departments’ budgets. Yet Biden tried to claim Democrats aren’t trying to defund the police.
Then he gave a real whopper of a statement.
“I’m the Democratic Party; I am president. So is the Speaker of the House and so is the, the Majority Leader,” Biden claimed. “We are not the defunding the police.”
“Okay,” a reporter responded. “And are there people who — in the Democratic Party, who want to defund the police?”
“Are there people in the Republican Party who think we’re sucking the blood out of kids?” Biden responded. [Source: Daily Wire]
Okay, before we get to the crazy part, let’s stop and talk about this stupid reporter. This is yet another case of the “Emperor has no clothes.” We all know Democrats are defunding police. Biden knows members of his party are defunding police. Every major blue city has slashed its PD’s budgets over the last two years. Yet this pathetic reporter has to pretend like this is a mystery that only Biden can resolve.
Yes, many Democrats want to—and have—defund the police. That includes Democrats in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Austin, Portland, Seattle, Minneapolis, Chicago, and more.
But even crazier than the question itself is Biden’s response. He mentions that there are Republicans who think Democrats are “sucking the blood out of kids.” If you’re confused, don’t worry about it. Sleepy Joe is referencing something he said earlier, about the conspiracy group QAnon.
As usual, Democrats are trying to connect the entire Republican Party with a small, fringe group. Those who consider themselves members of QAnon do not consider themselves part of the GOP. In fact, they will tell you they think Republicans are part of the problem. So, why is Biden associating Republicans with this group of online gossipers?
Because Biden is either lying through his teeth (as usual) or is totally out of step with what’s going on.
There are always weird and crazy ideas being spread online by people on the outskirts of society. Why would a president bring that up and try to associate it with a major political party? Perhaps because what his party is really doing is so much worse.
Biden can claim neither he nor Pelosi nor Schumer are trying to defund the police. But we all know it’s not the federal government that funds local cops in the first place. Countless Democrats are and Biden does nothing to discourage them.
So, in the end, he is most certainly responsible for the defund police movement.
