We all know it is a long shot for Biden to run for re-election in 2024. The man’s presidency has already been a failure. And it is unlikely that his failing mental health will allow him to run another presidential campaign (especially since COVID won’t let him hide in his basement in two years).
But there are a few reasons why Democrats want him coming back. Biden is recognizable and the incumbent, two factors that help in elections. He could recover in the next two years, salvaging back some approval among voters (as unlikely that that is). And, the biggest reason of all, Democrats don’t have anyone else remotely qualified to run (not to mention Biden backing out after one term is an admission of defeat).
Despite all that, there is a growing fear that none of it matters. Because, unlike in 2020, Democrats won’t be able to hide Biden’s biggest problem in 2024, his dirtbag son.

I find it hilarious that anyone thinks Biden is viable for re-election in two years. His dismal approval numbers aside, the man can’t even walk across a room today. Imagine how out of his mind he will be by 2024 (that is, if he hasn’t kicked the bucket by then)?
But his idiotic aids aren’t even worried about all that. I guess they are hoping Donald Trump will run again, making it easier for Joe to win? A big miscalculation by any measure, but that’s not the point.
They know full well that Joe Biden conspired with his son Hunter on many of those shady, illegal deals. Biden abused his influence as vice president, helping his crooked son (who is just a puppet for the family’s crimes) score deals that made all of them rich.
If Republicans turned over even one stone, they’ll find an avalanche that makes the Clintons’ crimes look like nursery school stories.
The Bidens are in deep trouble. Even if they manage to avoid prosecution, the mountain of dirt uncovered will doom Joe’s re-election.
But there’s no way they’ll be able to stop it. If Republicans retake the House, these investigations will be all but a certainty. Which is why Biden’s aids are preparing now.
Considering how poorly this administration does with spin, though, I don’t think they have much of a chance.
