Former presidential senior adviser Stephen Miller has slammed President Biden’s immigration plans as “madness.”
During an interview on Fox News on Sunday, Miller, a leader of former President Trump’s immigration agenda, decried that agenda’s reversal by the new White House.
“The plans put forward by Biden and Democrats would fundamentally destroy the very idea of America’s nationhood,” he said. “For the first time in history this plan would send applications to deported illegals and give them the opportunity to reenter the nation on a rapid path to citizenship. … This is madness.”
“This is on top of the administration dismantling border security, canceling Trump’s agreements with Mexico and preventing ICE from removing the majority of criminal illegals it encounters,” he said.
According to Miller, Trump’s agreements with South American countries meant “we were able to safely and humanely return those who were apprehended illegally.”
“President Joe Biden has failed to protect American citizens and he went out of his way to privilege illegals over American citizens,” Miller stated.
“So when your children can’t go to school, when you have been laid off because of shutdowns, 200 nations can send their immigrants to our border without masks and without any rules.”
