Joe Biden is facing a big problem. He cannot get out of helping Israel, because the U.S. has been its ally for decades. But, the radical, morally bankrupt progressives he’s been catering to for years have turned on Israel.
Progressives in the U.S. have all but joined Hamas, accusing Israel of “genocide” while ignoring the horrific acts of evil of October 7th. The irresponsible liberal media fans the flames, lamenting the “plight” of Palestinians—ignoring how Hamas has mistreated their own people for years.
Biden will lose the support of progressive voters if he continues to support Israel. But he will lose everyone else if he bows the knee to the left and withholds support from Israel. Well, the geniuses who are actually running the White House have come up with a plan to win back progressives. In a word, it is terrible.
Biden on Thursday announced efforts that could offer some relief: the US military will begin establishing a port in the territory that could receive large shipments of critically needed food and medical supplies.
“A temporary pier would enable a massive increase in the amount of humanitarian assistance getting into Gaza every day,” Biden said during his address on Thursday. “And Israel must also do its part. Israel must allow more aid into Gaza and ensure that humanitarian workers aren’t caught in the cross fire.”…
“Humanitarian assistance cannot be a secondary consideration or a bargaining chip. Protecting and saving innocent lives has to be a priority,” Biden said. [Source: CNN]
In a move that defies Israel’s sovereignty, America’s national security needs, and basic common sense, Joe Biden announced he is sending troops into Gaza. He claimed they will build a “port” in the hostile territory to send relief to Palestinian residents. While announcing this, he attacked Israel, suggesting the nation wasn’t doing “enough” to help their sworn enemies.
Let’s go over some history, shall we? Israel has long sent aid to Gaza. So has the UN and other international agencies. Do you want to know what happens to that aid? It is seized by Hamas—which runs the government—and it is used to make more weapons to kill Jews.
Biden is making Israel out to look like a bad guy, invading a land full of “innocent” people, depriving them of aid. But Biden is lying to the world when he says this. Israel was the victim of a horrific attack that resulted in the deaths of 1,200 helpless civilians. Even today, Hamas-allied groups are firing missiles into Israel, to indiscriminately kill Israeli citizens.
Meanwhile, Israel has gone out of its way to avoid hurting Palestinian civilians. It has even continued to send aid to Gaza, despite the great risk that it poses to its troops.
Hamas, however, has used civilians as human shields, building their terror bases in homes, schools, and hospitals. Yet Biden doesn’t mention any of that.
As usual, he is pushing a poorly-thought out, half-baked plan that will not work, just to get good press. All so he can trick his idiotic voters that he’s doing the “right thing.”
Yet in the end, he will only empower terrorists, who will look for the first opportunity to kill Israelis and Americans.
