Last weekend, Joe Biden’s official Twitter account posted several seemingly heartfelt Easter messages. You’d think, based on those carefully-crafted posts written by aides, that Biden is in full support of Americans’ religious rights.
Not even close.
The Biden administration is in lockstep with the radical left, whose chief goal is to eradicate the religious heritage of the United States. Everything they champion goes against the deeply-held beliefs of religious Americans. And Biden shows his support for these socialists by going after the very Americans he claims to fellowship with.
How bad is it? Well, Biden’s FBI is literally spying on the Catholic church, accusing it of extremism.
The Weaponization of Government Committee has discovered that the FBI sent undercover agents into Catholic churches to investigate those parishes for domestic extremism.
“Based on the limited information produced by the FBI to the Committee,” Jim Jordan writes in a letter to FBI director Christopher Wray, “we now know that the FBI relied on at least one undercover agent to produce its analysis and that the FBI proposed that its agents engage in outreach to Catholic parishes to develop sources among the clergy and church leadership to inform on Americans practicing their faith.”
Jordan notes that this “shocking information” and that it “reinforces” the need for the FBI to respond to the committee’s subpoenas and requests for information. He brings up the leaked bulletin from an FBI field office in Richmond earlier this year which identified Catholics who attend Latin Mass as potential domestic extremists. Now, you might be asking yourself right now, “Are Catholics domestic extremists?” No, no they are not. The most extreme thing Catholics do is eat Holy Communion.
But they are part of the largest pro-life, anti-abortion entity in America. Catholics strongly oppose abortion and run numerous pro-life groups. Catholics, along with Evangelical Christians, have fought for decades to end Roe v. Wade and provide alternatives to abortion for pregnant women.
Is Biden going after the Catholic church, because of its pro-life views? We can’t find another reason why the FBI would accuse this church of “domestic extremism.” We know the DOJ and FBI have become heavily politicized, ever since Obama. The agency uses its considerable power to push Democrat policies, not uphold law and justice.
It is certainly not beyond the liberals who run the FBI to find ways to harass and intimidate the Catholic church, in an attempt to undermine its pro-life work. This is a gross violation of Catholics’ First Amendment rights.
There is no evidence that this church is breaking the law. Yet FBI agents have been spying on it, trying to get members to report on it like informants.
If we allow this to happen, there is no telling what the government might do to destroy Americans’ religious rights. The FBI can use its resources to interfere with worship, teaching, and anything else churches do. There would be no end to how corrupt politicians could undermine our religious beliefs.
This must be stopped, now.
