It’s not every day that Republicans and Democrats in Congress actually agree on something. In fact, it almost never happens at all. An issue must be pretty important for both parties to join forces and pass a bill. And this was just that sort of issue: ESG.
Part of the reason some banks are failing right now, is because of Joe Biden’s meddling. The super-woke administration has forced banks to invest money, based on how “progressive” a company’s values are. Instead of investing in companies that are sure to return a profit, Biden has forced banks (including your bank) to throw your money at “woke” companies that are likely to fail. That is called the ESG movement.
It is such a bad idea, both parties passed a bill to shut Joe down. Biden defied Congress, vetoing the bill. He then went on to lie about the bill, blaming–as usual–“MAGA Republicans.”

Biden blatantly lied about why he vetoed the bill. It is Biden’s ESG agenda that would put Americans’ retirement savings at risk. This bill was not solely backed by “MAGA” Republicans, but moderates in both parties.
So, after Joe spewed his lies, he got shut down by the facts.
“The people who manage your retirement savings should only have one thing to consider: Your retirement security,” GOP rapid response director Tommy Pigott tweeted. “Once again Biden is prioritizing far-left special interests over the economic well-being of the American people.” […]
Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., wrote, “Joe Biden’s first veto as president: letting retirement fund managers prioritize ESG scams over the best-performing investments. Why is he playing games with working people’s retirement money?” [Source: Fox News]
And plenty of Democrats are ticked off as well.
“This Administration continues to prioritize their radical policy agenda over the economic, energy and national security needs of our country, and it is absolutely infuriating,” [Democrat Sen. Joe] Manchin, who has not declared whether he will seek re-election in 2024, wrote in a statement. [Source: Fox News]
It seems Biden is trying to bankroll the radical left from all angles. He’s thrown billions of our tax dollars to “woke” companies through grants and legislation. He’s helped prop up the woke media, as well as woke colleges and universities. Public schools are only funded by the government, if they follow his far-left guidelines.
And now, he even wants your bank accounts funding only far-left, progressive companies. Biden is trying to choke out conservatives in every corner of our society, so only woke Democrats can prosper. Even if that means your savings and retirement accounts tank.
Biden is not a president. He is a dictator. He is abusing his authority to prop up his own party–to the detriment of everything else.
