Biden’s CIA Pick Has Sinister History With China

One of voters’ biggest concerns with Joe Biden was his comfy relationship with China. After the communist state took the world hostage with their COVID virus, it was up to the U.S. to hold them accountable. Donald Trump would have continued a policy of pushing back against China, demanding they pay back the world for what they did.

But Joe? He once claimed the communists who persecute their own people “aren’t bad folks.” He infamously flew to China to negotiate as VP, while his son received millions from Chinese investors. Biden had left his intentions with China vague during the election. Recently, he claimed to put American interests first when dealing with them in the future.

It doesn’t seem like that will be the case, though. Not within the CIA, at least. Because Joe’s pick to run the intelligence organization appears to already be in the communist country’s pocket.

President Joe Biden’s nominee to be the next director of the CIA, William Burns, was the president of a think tank that reportedly took millions of dollars from entities linked to the Chinese Communist Party…

“Burns, who was paid $540,580 last year as president of Carnegie, will appear before the Senate Intelligence Committee for a confirmation hearing likely to be held this month.”

Burns, who has been president of the think tank for nearly six years, welcomed Chinese businessman Zhang Yichen, CEO of CITIC Consulting, to the think tank’s board of trustees, saying that they were “very fortunate” to have him. The report said that Zhang donated between $500,000 and $999,999 to the think tank over a one-year span between 2017 and 2018 and gave an additional $250,000 and $549,999 to the think tank in the last fiscal year. Burns also traveled to China in the past, where he and staff met with a communist operative and president of a Chinese “front group.” The man, whose group took in considerable funds from China over the years, also collected a hefty paycheck in 2020, to the tune of $530,580. While everyone else was suffering, thanks to pandemic-fueled lockdowns, this man made over half a million dollars.

Must be nice, huh! What the heck was he being paid for? What was a “think tank” doing during a pandemic that would have warranted such a high salary?

What’s even more concerning is this man might be put in charge of America’s most secretive organization—and he is buddy-buddy with our worst enemy.

Zhang Yichen, who donated combined millions to Burns’ group, is a member of two groups linked to the Chinse Communist Party (I guess one wasn’t enough). One of the groups is dedicated to spreading the Chinese government’s influence all over the world.

And this man gave millions to someone who might run our CIA? Oh, no red flags there!

Does Joe Biden even have a brain in his head? Out of all the qualified people to run the CIA, why is he picking someone with apparently no qualifications and troubling connections?

We have to assume this pick was decided, not by Biden, but by those people who got him elected. People who have an interest in keeping China happy and would like a man in the CCP’s pocket to run our intelligence network.
