BLM Protesters Target ‘Privileged’ Hotel Guests

Black Lives Matter demonstrators in Portland, Oregon harassed luxury hotel goers late Wednesday evening for the apparent crime of ignoring their “protest.”

The group reportedly gathered in downtown Portland around 6:00 pm Wednesday as part of a “2nd year memorial and celebration of life” “protest” for Patrick Kimmons, a black criminal suspect who was justifiably killed by the police on Sept. 30, 2018.

“Police say Kimmons fired five shots in the early-morning fight, injuring two people. They went to a local hospital with ‘serious, but not life-threatening injuries,’ according to police,” Oregon Public Broadcasting reported at the time.

“Officers and witnesses say Kimmons was shot after running toward officers with a revolver in his hand. Witnesses say officers yelled commands at Kimmons as they shot. Police fired 12 rounds and say they recovered a gun near Kimmons.”

But because Kimmons was black, he of course is perceived as a victim by BLM members, ergo why they felt the need to celebrate his life on Sept. 30, 2020 with a “protest.”

Their “protest” began at Pioneer Courthouse Square but quickly moved to the corner of SW 4th and Harvey Milk Street — the spot where he’d been killed two years ago, according to local station KOIN.

Also situated at that spot is Hi-Lo Hotel, a luxury hotel part of Marriott’s Autograph Collections Hotels. A room there rents for as much as $185/night.

What the hotel goers who had rented a room at the Hi-Lo for Thursday hadn’t realized though is that staying there apparently comes with the obligation of listening to BLM demonstrators kvetch and moan about their dubious grievances against society.

Watch what happened below when the annoyed hotel goers responded to the BLM “protest” below by closing their blinds:

“It is incredibly disrespectful for all of you to be up here, and you are so privileged. There is a memorial for a man who was killed, and you think it’s important to watch TV. That is their priority. Get your priorities straight,” an extremist from the local BLM-offshoot PDX Black Youth Movement could be heard shrieking.

“This isn’t a joke. This is our family. This is our life. I see them opening and closing their blinds like this is an inconvenience for you. My life is an inconvenience for some people, and that s–t is not OK. It makes me so angry. It hurts to see that people don’t care two s—s about what’s going on.”

Yet she didn’t seem even slightly concerned about what was going on with the people above. Perhaps they were busy working on their laptops. Or maybe they were speaking with elderly family members who’ve been lonely because of the coronavirus lockdowns.

Another possibility is that maybe they were simply trying to sleep because they were scheduled to work an early shift the next morning. (** Language warnings)

None of this is to say that the hotel goers owed the BLM leader and her fellow demonstrators the slightest attention. They could have been upstairs playing videos, of all it mattered. Neither that woman nor any other “protester” was owed a thing.

According to journalists who were on the scene, here’s what else happened during the heated downtown “protest.”

One speaker shared his paranoid delusional fear of people who own trucks:

Another speaker claimed white communities are devoid of cops:

And another speaker claimed all black men are stigmatized since birth.

The late Herman Cain, a black man who achieved great success despite overcoming hurdles that BLM extremists couldn’t even imagine, would likely disagree.
