I don’t have to tell you about the crime epidemic sweeping blue cities. Far-left Democrat mayors and city councils (not to mention district attorneys) have defunded their police, eliminated cash bail, refused to prosecute various crimes, and set other policies that have only encouraged more crime.
It’s getting to the point where law-abiding citizens fear for their lives every day. We’re not talking about the inner city, mind you. This crisis is sweeping entire cities, reaching formerly safe and prosperous communities.
Of course, these very same Democrats who are rewarding criminals refuse to do anything to help businesses–which are closing at a rapid pace. Citizens are denied the right to bear arms outside their homes. And stores can’t rely on police to apprehend shoplifters or loiterers. So, one chain–faced with no other option–has resorted to this to drive away crime.
To deal with vagrancy issues and petty crime, Walgreens stores in Memphis have installed speakers to loudly play classical music in the parking lot.
The tactic, which has been used in Chicago and Los Angeles, is intended to deter loitering from homeless people and others, who sometimes harass customers. In Memphis, groups of about 10-15 people were loitering around in one of the Walgreens parking lots before the initiative was started, according to Fox13…

Memphis has some of the worst crime rates in America–and guess what, it’s led by Democrats! Citizens are denied the ability to arm and protect themselves. And businesses can’t rely on the police to get rid of loiters, who end up committing crimes.
So, the Walgreens of Memphis have started playing loud classical music outside their stores to drive homeless and loiterers away.
Yep, that’s the brilliant idea that Americans have to resort to, just for a semblance of law and order.
These store owners can’t call the cops, because the cops wouldn’t show up. There aren’t enough police to keep the city safe. And liberal city counsels prevent cops from arresting loiterers and relocating the homeless.
Walgreens literally has to play loud music, hoping these people will get annoyed enough to move on.
Does that sound like a sustainable solution to you? Some are already complaining about the noise. And how long before loiters just attack the store out of anger?
It’s this kind of stupidity that is making America a laughing stock around the world. Want to stop criminals from breaking the law? Arrest them! It’s as simple as that. We have laws and law enforcement to deter people who would otherwise harm our society. When you prevent a community from actually enforcing the law, then the only result is chaos.
