Wonder why crime is so bad in Democrat-run states and cities? It’s because leftists have adopted a bizarre form of “social justice” that claims criminals aren’t really scum bags who prey on the weak. They are just “victims” of a racist and corrupt system. If only these people were given a chance, they’d turn from crime and instead make the world a better place.
Apparently, Democrats call evil people good and good people evil. They ignore the horrible things criminals do. Meanwhile, they attack conservatives online, calling them racists and Nazis. They definitely have some things very backward.
Case in point. A hospital in Washington State needed to hire a new employee. Out of all the possible applicants, they selected a man who has been in and out of prison for years. Guess what happened next?
Western State Hospital knowingly hired and promoted a prolific offender. It didn’t end well for the patients in his care, nor Washington taxpayers. He’s now accused of stealing money from mental patients. But he maintained his job thanks to the state’s “equity” agenda that pretends felons are worthy of endless chances.
Mark James was hired as an Institution Counselor on April 24, 2017. The date is notable because he was booked into the Pierce County Jail on a fugitive warrant from Oregon just 13 days earlier…
Washington state hiring officials knew James had at least 22 felony convictions for drug possession, identity theft, forgery, and theft since the 1990s. He said he underwent several background checks. Washington state hired him anyway…
Oregon police said James was dealing heroin and had 19 grams of heroin, a gram of cocaine, and a scale and packaging material when arrested. After pleading guilty, he was sentenced to 30 days in jail and 36 months of probation. [Source: 770 KTTH]
This is how suicidal liberal states are becoming. The man they hired to take care of mental patients had a long history of criminality. We’re not talking about someone who hit a skid, one time years ago. But a man who was charged with TWENTY-TWO felony convictions. Including, drug possession, identity theft, and forgery.
Uh… how dumb are the people working at this hospital? But it’s not just them. They hired this man under Washington State’s “equity” agenda. Equity has become a new buzzword among woke liberals. It is another word for socialism.
Big surprise, this man continued to break the law. He not only stole money from patients suffering from mental illness but was dealing drugs out of the hospital. But do you know what his co-workers said about him after he was exposed as the scum bag he is?
His supervisor actually claimed he was an “exemplary employee.” Why? Because they didn’t want to look racist or bigoted by attacking a career criminal. Honestly, you have to work hard to be this stupid.
This isn’t the first time something like this happened in a blue state. And it won’t be the last. The only thing we can do is reject any kind of policy like this that Democrats try to push in red states or D.C.
Otherwise, the criminals win.
