It’s no secret that the economy is in free fall. Joe Biden has deliberately tanked America’s future, through reckless spending and other schemes. He is raising taxes, giving away billions, and letting crime spread poverty across the country.
Americans are struggling to find good-paying jobs. Even the jobs they have failed to meet their needs, thanks to rampant inflation. Biden and Democrats do nothing to fix the problem. In fact, they make it much worse by ignoring the exploding border problem.
Now, one Democrat is proving they wanted to destroy American prosperity all along, by promising thousands of jobs to illegal aliens.
New York Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul announced on Monday the state identified approximately 18,000 job openings — from more than 350 employers across various industries in the state — that are willing to hire immigrants eligible to legally work in the United States.
“Migrants and asylum seekers came here to work — so let’s put them to work,” Governor Hochul said in a news release. “Right now, we have a migrant crisis and a workforce crisis. By connecting work-eligible individuals with jobs and opportunity in New York, we can solve them both and secure a brighter future for all New Yorkers.” [Source: Daily Wire]
This is truly disgusting. New York Gov. Hochul is offering 18,000 jobs to the migrants who are illegally in the state. She falsely claimed there is a “workforce crisis” in New York. If that was true, why isn’t she reaching out to Americans struggling to make ends meet?
Democrats have long claimed we “need” migrants to do the jobs Americans refuse to do. What they won’t tell you is that businesses have, for decades, relied on migrants to cut American wages. When there is a group of desperate, illegal aliens, willing to do anything to stay in America, companies can pay them next to nothing.
Americans want a living wage. So, companies pass them by and hire illegals. Wages were so high under Trump because he deprived companies of an unending supply of cheap workers.
Illegal aliens don’t pay taxes, yet they still get taxpayer-funded benefits like free housing, food, and healthcare. They are willing to work below a living wage because Democrats are taking care of them.
All in exchange for votes, right Hochul?
It is despicable that an American leader would look to outsiders to fill jobs. Why isn’t Hochul demanding the border be closed, wages increased, and Americans put back to work? Because, in the end, Democrats really do plan on replacing all of us.
