After making its official online debut on Truth Social last week, the complete theatrical trailer for the much awaited movie My Son Hunter has amassed more than 3.5 million cross-platform views. Following the release of the trailer, Devin Nunes the former CA lawmaker and CEO of Truth Social moderated an all-star panel discussion in the hopes that it would be as successful in promoting My Son Hunter as it had been in bringing John Rich’s hit song “Progress” to the top of the charts.
Donald Trump Jr., Robert Davi, director of My Son Hunter (Licensed to Kill, Die Hard, The Goonies), Peter Schweizer, president of the Institute of Government Accountability and senior contributor to Breitbart as well as the author of Red Handed: How the Elites Get Wealthy Helping China Win, and Alex Marlow, were all on the panel discussion on Truth Social that Nunes moderated.
Truth Social’s goal is to provide artists and others suffering woke cancellation a forum, as Nunes and Donald Trump Jr. pointed out throughout the discussion. The enormous popularity of John Rich’s song “Progress” served as the ideal illustration of how the Truth Social purpose is carried out.
My Son Hunter is similar to having his work “lifted from the pages of my book and transformed into the flesh,” according to Schweizer, who was the first to expose extensively on the Biden family’s shady international business dealings and how Hunter Biden used his father’s position as vice president to gain favor with foreign governments.
Schweizer added, “You actually have the family that is the most powerful in the US collecting money from our sworn opponents’ and taking it from four individuals who are connected to Chinese intelligence.”
“This is a tale that the FBI should have been all over, yet they are nowhere around,” said My Son Hunter director Robert Davi.
Since the public has been kept in the dark about the corruption, this is, in my opinion, the largest story in America, said Davi.
During the Truth Social My Son Hunter panel, Donald Trump Jr. declared, “If I was Hunter Biden, I would be in jail.” You know, in the history of the U.S. Government, I’ve probably been subpoenaed more times than any other human being or citizen. They have worked there for endless hours without doing anything, else you would have already heard about it by now and I would be in jail.
Trump Jr. claimed that the movie is the most recent instance of conservatives “creating their own” in popular culture.
