Barack Obama has gone to bat for his former vice president. Democrats mull dumping Biden for another candidate. But Obama has come out to support Joe, even though all signs point to Biden suffering cognitive decline. Even Democrat doctors are suggesting Biden is suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
What will Obama do to save his protégé? Barry is demanding the party fall in line with Biden, even though the ailing Democrat could doom their November ticket.
But, Obama might not be as loyal to Joe as some think. Think week, the liberal apple cart was rattled by an op-ed from George Clooney. The big Democrat donor wants Biden to step down. And, as it turns out, Obama might have been involved in that article. Which raises the question, what is old Barry up to?

While Obama did not encourage or advise Clooney to say what he said, he also didn’t object to it, people familiar with their exchange said. The lack of pushback came despite the former president stepping out as one of the first big voices defending Biden following his abysmal debate performance last month — and as many of Obama’s former aides have emerged as some of the incumbent’s biggest critics. George Clooney’s op-ed against Biden appears to have squashed Joe’s attempts at ending the mutiny. The actor’s comments are stoking calls for Biden to step down. According to reports, Obama was aware of Clooney’s impending op-ed. He did not “advise” Clooney to write it. But some are saying he did nothing to object to it.
If Obama is as supportive of Biden as he appears, why didn’t he discourage Clooney from writing this article? A man like George Clooney could sway numerous Democrats, including big-name donors. Many voters might be influenced by Clooney’s comments against Biden. Yet Obama, who knows the famous actor, allegedly did nothing.
And it seems Clooney’s article is already eroding Biden’s support base.

Biden might lose tremendous support over Clooney’s article. So, why didn’t Obama step up to stop it? Many Americans have accused Obama of secretly influencing the Biden presidency. Some think he has outright been telling Biden what to do.
Could Obama be letting opposition grow against Joe, so he can continue to manipulate the party behind the scenes? Is Obama hoping Biden steps down, so he can install another liberal puppet? Has Obama been orchestrating all this from day one?
We can’t be sure. But figures like Obama might be pulling the strings of this growing rift within the party.
