Joe Biden took a gamble on the midterms by canceling a portion of American students’ loan debt. The foolish plan will cost working Americans $500 billion or more. Because these students won’t be paying back money they borrowed, millions of Americans who never went to college are on the hook to pay it.
The blowback from this plan was fast and fierce. So much so, that Biden isn’t even talking about it anymore as we near the midterm elections. But one Democrat is, GA governor candidate Stacey Abrams. And she is scolding voters who don’t appreciate Biden’s “forgiveness.”
Stacey Abrams, the Democrat gubernatorial candidate challenging Gov. Brian Kemp (R) in Georgia, insulted Americans who are opposed to President Biden’s student loan debt bailout, asserting that they are being rude.
“And for those who are angry for forgiving between $10,000 to $20,000 in debt, I will ask you why you’re being so churlish,” Abrams said to working-class Americans…
Abrams is hardly the first Democrat to insult Americans who oppose Biden’s plans to cancel $10,000 to $20,000 in student loan debt for individuals making under $125,000 annually. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), a longtime advocate for canceling student loan debt, took to social media after Biden’s announcement and concluded that those who oppose the move are acting selfishly. Um… okay. Entitled progressive Stacey Abrams insulted Americans who will be forced to pay back $500 billion in student loans they never used.
She called them “churlish” for being upset that Biden is robbing them to pay off other people’s debt.
Wow. And Democrats call Republicans out of touch? Democrats pretend to be the party of working-class Americans and laborers.
Yet this student loan plan will force Americans who didn’t go to college to reward those who did. Biden will be taxing Americans who are currently struggling to put food on the table to cover a bunch of lazy people who earned liberal arts degrees.
And Abrams has the gall to call Americans who work very hard not to be in debt “churlish.”
Abrams claims to be a candidate for regular folks, but she has no idea what they care about. Right now, Biden is destroying the economy. His reckless spending and high taxes are hurting Americans of all stripes. People can’t put gas in their cars or pay their bills. Yet Biden is handing out welfare to people who don’t need it.
But we’re the wrongs who are wrong for having an opinion about it?
Abrams feels like she’s entitled to run Georgia–when she doesn’t even understand the struggles of working Americans.
Perhaps she needs to get an education first?
