Democrats Do The Unthinkable To Spread COVID In America

Democrats have outrageously blocked a bill introduced by Republican Congressman Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA) this week that would have required illegals to prove a negative COVID test before they were released from Border Protection into the United States.

“Today, I gave my REACT Act on the floor of the House, which would require DHS give a coronavirus test to everyone who crosses our border illegally,” Meeks said on Twitter.

“The majority wanted to block this commonsense bill that would guarantee the safety and health of Border Patrol and communities,” she said.

“The White House must act quickly to help protect our border,” Miller-Meeks said in another tweet on this week. “I joined a letter spearheaded by @RepTonyGonzales demanding that Biden fully enforce current immigration laws.”

DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said during a White House briefing that 15,000 Haitian illegals who crossed into Texas, were not tested for the virus before they were allowed to enter the U.S., nor are they subject to the mandates.

“Yeah, so, we didn’t test those individuals. We don’t know — I should say, if I might be perfectly accurate — I don’t know if anyone was sick with COVID,” he said.

That is just the tip of the iceberg. Over 200,000 illegals crossed the border back in July and Aug. They were not forced to be tested for coronavirus unless they revealed symptoms which does not make sense as many who are infected don’t show symptoms during the process. This same consideration is not awarded to American citizens.

The REACT Act was first put forward by Miller-Meeks back in March. “This legislation would force the DHS to test migrants illegally going across our border for coronavirus who DHS plans to allow to come into our communities,” she said in a comment.

“This week, I went to El Paso, Texas, to talk to CBP officers. I saw firsthand the crisis, and I think it is our job in Washington to address it and help them. Around 50% of these agents have tested positive for coronavirus, and very few migrants were being tested,” Miller-Meeks said in March.

“My REACT Act will ensure that every migrant that CBP releases is tested and gets a negative test. Border security affects every community around the nation. By ensuring that people entering the country are negative19, we can help our communities stay healthy and safe,” she said.
