It’s no secret Democrats face a serious bashing in the 2022 midterms. Plenty is on the line, not just in the House and the Senate. Democrats are struggling to gain an advantage on the state level, especially in numerous governor races.
That’s why the left has tried its best to manipulate the recent Hurricane Ian landfall at Florida to undermine Gov. Ron DeSantis. The media is trying to make it look like the governor failed to address the natural disaster–when just the opposite is true. In fact, the governor’s response was above and beyond what anyone expected.
And a viral video shows just how happy Florida residents are with their governor.
He’s probably not going to appear in any campaign ads this season, but the man in this video might have given Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis the strongest endorsement for next month’s election he’s gotten this year.
The unnamed speaker in this video, which conservative commentator Dan Bongino posted on Twitter early Monday morning, said he was a Democrat from Arcadia, Florida, and was going to be voting for DeSantis in November…
“They’re s***ting about DeSantis, but that gas is here in Arcadia,” the man said, pointing to a tanker truck that the camera then panned to. “I don’t know about the rest’a y’all, but it’s here in Arcadia.”
“So y’all know who we voting for,” he added, as his companion laughed. “I don’t know an awful lot about the rest of you [distinguished ladies and gentlemen], but I’m voting for DeSantis.
“And I’m a Democrat,” he added. [Source: Western Journal]

The video shows two black men celebrating the arrival of a gas tanker in their town of Arcadia. One of them is overjoyed, praising the governor who managed to bring much-needed fuel a short time after the hurricane struck Florida.
While saying he’s a Democrat, the man vows they’ll be voting for DeSantis.
Democrats wanted nothing more than for the Republican governor to fail in his Hurricane Ian response. They wished he fell flat on his face, unprepared for this disaster.
And while Ian was the strongest hurricane to hit Florida in years, the state was ready. DeSantis mobilized tens of thousands of workers and numerous response teams. He brought in help from across the nation, including millions of dollars of support from major corporations.
The result was they had gas in Arcadia just hours after the storm passed by. Those are results that nobody can deny. And even a black Democrat voter is noticing.
This is the main reason why DeSantis has been so successful. Regardless of politics, he gets things done. That can’t be said for most governors, who are good at making big promises come election time–but afterward, they are only seen during fundraisers.
Black Americans are used to that kind of treatment by Democrats. But it looks like a few of them are waking up to the truth.
