The left has long claimed to be the champions of marginalized groups and minorities. Democrats attack Republicans, saying that conservatives don’t care about people who are different than them. I guess, if that were true, Democrats would go out of their way to help these groups–especially the ones they keep telling us are victims of society.
But that doesn’t seem to be the case, at least not in New York City. The increasingly radical government has turned a blind eye as crime skyrockets. Even the current mayor, a former cop, refuses to enforce the laws and clean up the streets. And, because of their love of crime, Democrats are letting this sacred group become greater victims.
Gay men are being targeted in New York City’s Hell’s Kitchen area by unidentified assailants who drug and then rob them, and in two cases the men were murdered under similar circumstances.
The New York Times reports that 33-year-old John Umberger and 25-year-old Julio Ramirez were murdered blocks away and 5 weeks apart, and that an additional five men reported a similar methodology was used on them. According to the Times, “they were drugged at gay bars in the city — including the Eagle, the Boiler Room and the 9th Avenue Saloon — and then robbed.”
[…] the New York Post reported, “a gang that preys on gay men at Hell’s Kitchen nightclubs is suspected of killing at least two victims and of drugging and robbing more than a dozen other men — but Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office is impeding the investigation.”

Well, this is interesting. Apparently, a gang in New York is targeting gay men. They find them at bars, drug them, then drag them away to rob them blind. Already two men have been killed. You’d think the Democrat-run city would be moving heaven and earth to help, right?
Nope. Manhattan’s District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, is apparently impeding an investigation. Not only that, but he’s refusing to warn the public of a possible serial killer targeting gay men in the city.
Um…. what? Why on earth isn’t New York trying to stop this string of crimes? Two men and dead and many others have been robbed. How many more people need to be hurt before the city does something about it?
Yet, for some reason, Democrats aren’t doing anything to help gay men in NYC. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that Democrats only care about gay men when it is election time? But after the votes are counted, gays and minorities are ignored.
New York Democrats’ pro-criminal agenda seems to be more important than protecting gay residents. Their goal of showing criminals special treatment is actively hurting another group they pretend to care about.
I guess when push comes to shove, Democrats care more about killers and robbers than they do law-abiding gay citizens.
