Democrats are hosting their national convention this week. Already, it is rife with controversy. The city of Chicago is under-siege by radical, anti-Israel protesters. Stores and businesses and boarding up their windows, expecting riots. That’s the kind of affect Democrats have on a city!
The leftist party will be announcing what it plans to do to ruin America, should it win control in November.
Just before the event kicked off, the party released its 2024 platform. It contained the typical, far-left communist agenda we expect from modern Democrats. But it went even farther than anyone expected, forcing us to wonder what country these liberals think they are living in. Even more shocking was the fact that the party didn’t bother to update their document with Harris as their nominee!
The Democrats released their 2024 party platform on Monday morning, which begins with a Marxist land acknowledgment stating that the land on which the Democratic National Convention is taking place, the city of Chicago, is in fact stolen land…
In a section on Ukraine, the platform reads: “President Biden will never turn his back on our allies. In his second term, he will continue to stand with Ukraine to stop Putin’s atrocities and constrain Russia’s threat to allied nations and America’s vital interests.” Biden, the DNC should be aware, is no longer running for a second term in the White House. The Democrats unveiled their 2024 party platform with all the flair and spectacle you’d expect from a political circus. The city of Chicago, famous for its deep-dish pizzas and windy weather, became the backdrop for the Democratic National Convention. But instead of focusing on the city’s unique charm, the Democrats opened with a land acknowledgment that reads more like a Marxist manifesto than a nod to local history. They declared the land “stolen,” a somber start for what should have been an energizing event.
Now, you might wonder, what does this acknowledgment have to do with the party’s future vision? Quite a bit, it turns out. This gesture is more than just a token nod to the past; it’s a signal of the ideological undercurrents shaping the party’s platform. The Democrats have long flirted with progressive ideals, but this move puts their Marxist tendencies front and center.
The platform itself, while lauding the “accomplishments” of President Biden, is glaringly out of touch with reality, particularly since Biden is no longer running for a second term. Instead, Kamala Harris, his Vice President, is expected to carry the torch, although the platform doesn’t seem to have caught up with that fact.
When the platform veers into foreign policy, things get even more surreal. It pledges Biden’s unwavering support for Ukraine, promising to “stop Putin’s atrocities” and “constrain Russia’s threat.” This would be admirable if not for the fact that Biden isn’t the one running. It seems the Democrats forgot to update their script. Or maybe they just couldn’t be bothered to tailor their message for the actual candidate, Harris, who’s known more for her gaffes than her grasp on foreign affairs.
The Democrats also make bold claims on domestic issues, with a special focus on the economy. Kamala Harris, channeling her inner economist, blames inflation on “price gouging.” Never mind that most economists would point to supply chain issues and government overspending as the real culprits. But hey, when you’re trying to distract from your own economic failures, blaming big corporations is always a safe bet.
And let’s not forget the media’s favorite narrative: Trump and race. The platform regurgitates the debunked claim that Trump called white supremacists “very fine people,” a lie that has been repeatedly exposed but apparently still plays well with the Democrat base. The platform also downplays the border crisis, conveniently ignoring the fact that illegal immigration levels were significantly lower under Trump, who actually took steps to secure the border.
In the end, the Democrats’ 2024 platform is a hodgepodge of outdated talking points, radical policies, and a healthy dose of revisionist history. It’s clear they’re banking on the American people not paying attention to the details—or the reality that Kamala Harris, not Joe Biden, will be leading the charge.
