DeSantis Drops Major 2024 Hint With Big Move–This Could Lay Out His Plans for America

Last month, Donald Trump was the first Republican to announce his candidacy for president. His most loyal supporters celebrated the news. But there are two long years before the 2024 election. And, though Trump is the first GOP candidate, he is surely not the last.

Many have speculated on who might challenge Trump for the nomination. He might be leading in polls right now, but those don’t mean much when nobody is running against him. Several well-known names have been floated as possible 2024 contenders, including Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The governor has yet to announce a run, but he seems to be dropping some strong hints. And this move seems to be the biggest yet.

Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida will chronicle his life in public service in a new book that will publish in late February in what will be seen by political pundits as another step by the conservative champion toward a possible 2024 presidential run.

The autobiography by DeSantis, who was overwhelmingly re-elected three weeks ago to a second four-year term steering the increasingly red Sunshine State, is titled “The Courage to Be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival.”

This is interesting. Early in 2023, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will publish a book about his life and successes as Florida governor, focusing on how it can be a “blueprint” for America’s “revival.” That sounds awfully like the kind of book you right before you launch a presidential campaign.

The book will reportedly serve as an autobiography of the man, covering his childhood, time in Yale and Harvard, and his joining the Navy after 9/11 and service in Iraq. The book could serve as a way for the wider American public to learn about the man. Something that could be extremely valuable, you know, when you want to run for president.

Plenty of politicians have written books, regardless of their presidential aspirations. But the timing of this book is key. DeSantis is coming off of a massive victory in this year’s midterms. He helped turn Florida from a “swing” state to a strong red one. He was the big winner when other Republicans failed to see a red wave.

By February, he will be well on his way in his second term as Florida governor. And he will probably be setting his sights on his next career move. Could it include the White House? At this point, its hard to think he isn’t planning a bid. This book could serve as an indicator of his future success.

If it doesn’t sell well, then maybe he can stay Florida governor. But if it becomes a best seller (and it probably will), then that’s a good sign Americans want more of DeSantis.
