Abigail Disney has used her considerable wealth to bankroll Democratic campaigns for decades. And now, she is telling the party she is withholding future donations, until Joe Biden drops out of the race.
This news follows other big donors who are making similar threats. Major players within the political fundraising world are demanding Biden step down. If not, they will not be giving another red cent to the campaign or party. This will damage other Democratic candidates more than Joe. Many down-ballot candidates need every last penny if they are to win races.
And with the news that Abigail Disney is closing her checkbook, Democrats are revolting.

There is a possibility of a scenario where Biden stays in but loses tremendous support. Donors could flock to a third-party candidate, drawing votes away from mainstream Democrats.
That might be the most likely situation if Biden and his allies ignore the writing on the wall.
