At his Alaska rally on Saturday, former Pres. Donald Trump referred to Tesla CEO Elon Musk as a “bullshit artist.” Referring to Musk’s decision to drop out of his planned acquisition of Twitter and his recent claims that he would vote for the first time for a Republican, Trump stated, “He’s made himself a big mess. He said the other day that he had not ever voted for a Republican. I said I did not know that. He claimed that he had voted for me. So he is another artist that you can’t trust, but he won’t be purchasing it but he may at some point. Who knows what will happen? His contract is pretty awful. I went through his contract and discovered that it was not a good one. Sign up for the Truth. We adore the truth!”
At his campaign rally in Alaska on Saturday, Pres. Donald Trump had some harsh words for Tesla CEO Elon Musk. According to Musk, Twitter’s failure to disclose information about the total amount of bots on the platform has caused him to call off his $44 billion deal.
Despite this, it should be noted that several weeks prior to the deal being called off, Twitter let Musk access its “firehose” of user data. Experts have said that figuring out which Twitter accounts are the bots and which ones are real people might not be as simple as Musk believed. Around 5% of daily active users on Twitter are spam or phony accounts, according to the company, but Musk estimates the amount is closer to 20%.
“One of our top priorities under a GOP administration will be to halt left-wing censorship and to restore free speech in the United States. By the way, while I’m here, sign up for Truth Social. It’s as hot as a pistol, don’t you think? Elon! Elon!” Trump said during the Save America rally.
“Elon will not buy Twitter,” Trump declared. “Where did you hear that before? From me.” Trump was correct in describing the deal as crumbling apart; he provided a lot of information about the situation in an exclusive interview with Breitbart News.
“He’s in big trouble, you know, he even said the other day that he has never voted for a Republican. I did not know that. He also told me he had voted for me. So here we have another fraud artist who isn’t going to purchase it but may later on down the road. Who knows what will happen? He has a terrible contract, I looked at it, and so forth. Sign up for Truth if you want to be honest about your beliefs. We adore truth.’”
