With the summer now upon us, one thing is certain: gas prices are about to go through the roof. The summer months typically see a rise in gas prices, as waves of Americans go on vacation. But thanks to Joe Biden, many Americans have been forced to cancel their family trips, because of runaway inflation.
But even a dip in travelers will not stop this gas crisis. Biden’s anti-American energy agenda is making it impossible for energy companies to produce enough fuel. His regulations, limits, and fines are the root source of rising gas (and electricity) prices.
You’d think his Energy Department would be looking at every possible solution. Put Americans first, right, and work on this crisis.
Nope! Instead, they are putting their radical agenda first.
President Joe Biden’s Department of Energy (DOE) marked the first day of “pride month” by calling for pride “this month,” “next month” and “always” as gas prices continue to skyrocket, reaching another record high on Wednesday.
“Pride. This month. Next month. Always,” the Energy Department said in a post to social media, making it clear that the DOE “proudly” celebrates pride month. Accompanying the brief statement is an image of the “Progress Pride Flag,” widely embraced by other federal agencies this year as well. The flag includes the traditional colors of the rainbow but adds light pink, baby blue and white for the transgender community as well as black and brown for minority communities. [Source: Breitbart]
I’m sure those communities felt so heard, so accepted, so embraced. Until they have to fill their gas tanks.
Since when was it the DOE’s job to virtue signal to gays? I thought it was supposed to help manage our natural resources to make sure we have, you know, energy?
Biden’s energy secretary, Jennifer Granholm, is truly one of his worst cabinet members. The woman laughed in a news host’s face last year when he asked how Biden was going to lower gas prices (that was before Putin’s invasion). She shows a complete lack of knowledge and experience on the issues she is supposed to be addressing.
But I’m sure she was the one who told the department’s social media intern to post that idiotic tweet.
Is this all a game to the Biden administration? What good is it that pander to homosexuals, when Americans of all backgrounds can’t make ends meet?
(We’ll overlook how this administration routinely neglects traditional American values, like faith and the Bible, to celebrate the gays.)
In the end, this is all Granholm and her morally bankrupt department can do. They have no plan to help the gas crisis. They were the ones behind it, after all. All they can do is hope they bamboozle enough idiots with these meaningless posts.
