A Utah-based FBI agent has been detained and accused of sexually assaulting several kids.
Robert Alexander Smith is charged with two class-B misdemeanor charges of lewdness, four class-A misdemeanors of lewdness involving a juvenile, and four felony counts of first-degree aggravated child sexual abuse. He is accused of using his position of power improperly to assault youngsters sexually.
Smith was arrested when a little girl said something to her mother that made her “extremely uncomfortable,” explaining how Smith pushed her to touch him inappropriately beneath his clothes back in 2020. According to the court records, four other victims were quickly found who, like Smith, recalled having similar lewd encounters with them. They also claimed that the FBI agent had touched them.
Smith “held a position of exceptional trust as it relates to the victims in this instance,” the arrest report said.
We have written on how the FBI allowed Larry Nassir to prey on many young girls while serving as the doctor for USA Gymnastics:
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officers who ignored allegations that Larry Nassar had sexually assaulted minors will not be held accountable, according to a statement from the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ).
The DOJ announced on Thursday that it was “adhering to its earlier judgment not to file federal criminal charges” following a “careful re-review of the material.”
They went on to say that “this does not in any way indicate a view that the investigation into Nassar was conducted as it should have been, nor does it in any way reflect approval or disdain of the actions of the former agents.”
The federal government continues to give lip service to victims despite its complete apathy and readiness to let predators abuse the defenseless without consequence.
According to the DOJ, it will “keep learning from what happened in this case, and undertake work to keep victims as the focus of our work and to guarantee they are respected and heard throughout the process, which is what they deserve,” saying that it will cooperate with Congress to “help prevent things like this from occurring in the future and keep perpetrators accountable.”
It should not be shocking that predators are drawn to the FBI. The deep state is the top corrupt organization on the globe, and in the past, it has let its agents to get away with heinous crimes.
