You might remember that Congress had to threaten FBI Director Wray with contempt of Congress, just to see a document about Joe Biden. This document allegedly contained evidence that then-Vice President Biden was conducting a $5 million bribery scheme with figures in Ukraine.
When the FBI agreed to show this document to members of Congress, we assumed there was a catch. And, guess what, there was! Apparently, the FBI went out of its way to further protect Joe Biden from prosecution by redacting mentions of audio recordings of Joe and Hunter that would implicate them. But news of these recordings came out anyway, and the FBI was forced to fess up.
FBI Deputy Director Paul Abbate admitted during a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday that the FBI redacted any mention of audio recordings of Joe and Hunter Biden in a document shown last week to Republican lawmakers in which an FBI informant alleged the Bidens were involved in a bribery scheme around 2015 and 2016. Unbelievable. I guess Americans will never trust the FBI again, thanks to its repeated violations of justice. Sen. Blackburn was able to get FBI Deputy Director Abbate to admit they redacted parts of the document, to hide the fact there were recordings of Joe and Hunter.
These recordings, we learned elsewhere, could prove that the Bidens were engaged in a bribery scheme with foreign nations. The man who kept the recordings is saying as much. And now we that only did the FBI know about these recordings, but they tried to hide the fact from Congress!
The FBI knew about these recordings long before we did, but apparently never investigated them–just like how they never investigated Joe Biden, despite mounting concerns.
Just how corrupt is our federal government? The FBI is part of the Department of Justice. It is supposed to hold everyone accountable. Not just non-Democrats. Yet time and again, we’ve seen FBI officials go out of their way to harm Republicans and let Democrats off Scott-free.
It’s becoming harder to deny the Bidens were involved in some series of crimes. The evidence keeps coming out. Yet the FBI refuses to do anything about it. Even if House Republicans are successful at exposing every last shred of evidence, it will be up to the DOJ to actually prosecute.
But are we really certain they will? Chances are, this crooked FBI will just make an excuse and never hold Joe accountable.
How long before these officials face the music themselves?
