Democrats have long attacked Republicans as being “threats to democracy.” But which party allowed months of rioting in 2020, which was used to intimidate voters? Which party defunded police, allowing crime to destroy major cities? Which party is allowing millions of illegals to enter the country, and vote in our elections?
Which party refuses to clean up voter rolls, so that dead people are still eligible to vote? Which party has created the concept of “hate speech,” so they can prevent people from speaking their minds? And which party used the claim of “misinformation” to partner with social networks, so they could censor Americans–all to protect their candidates?
Yeah, Republicans did none of this. All of this was perpetrated by Joe Biden and his leftist buddies. But now, a federal judge just took steps to ensure Democrats will face the consequences for one of their election interference schemes.
The Biden administration is facing an existential threat to the government-wide regime it set up to curtail purported misinformation about COVID-19, elections and Hunter Biden’s laptop, as a federal judge knocked down all but one challenge to a censorship lawsuit by Louisiana, Missouri and doctors.
Not only have the plaintiffs established standing to sue and sufficiently alleged that federal coercion is responsible for the suppression of their comments on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube, but it’s likely to keep happening without intervention, U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty wrote in a 77-page ruling that clears the way for a trial.
“Their allegations are more than complaints of past wrongs,” the Monroe, La.-based judge said…
“The threat of future censorship is substantial, and the history of past censorship is strong evidence that the threat of further censorship is not illusory or merely speculative,” Doughty wrote. [Source: Just the News]
This is pretty big. A federal judge is clearing the way for a lawsuit against the federal government over censorship on social media. Elon Musk and others have blown the whistle on how Democrats in various agencies coerced major social platforms to silence anyone who spreads “misinformation” or “disinformation.”
That’s just an excuse for Democrats to silence Americans who say anything that contradicts the left’s narrative. Democrats in the government have come up with a scheme to shut down Americans’ First Amendment rights, effectively destroying free speech online.
Democrats did this to silence doctors who raised doubts over the government’s response to COVID and Biden’s insane vaccination push. Democrats did this to silence newspapers, like the New York Post, which reported on Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop. Democrats did this extensively in 2020 and beyond, to anyone who questioned the results of that election.
The federal judge in this case knows that this kind of censorship will keep happening if nothing is done. The consequences of this lawsuit might be tremendous. Democrats have figured out a way to dominate elections, through social media. Their allies in Silicon Valley gladly shut down anyone who threatens their power, from former presidents to mommy bloggers.
All so Americans can’t call out the corrupt and evil in high places. But if this case is successful, the federal government–and social networks–could be brought to bear. It will end years’ of censorship and restore our freedom of speech.
