Female Trump Ally Blasts Feminists — And It’s Going Viral

Former press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders defended President Trump for empowering her when liberal women were “tearing” her down, adding that a potential Biden presidency would “set us back.”

“When liberal women who are supposed to be all about women’s empowerment were tearing me down, it was President Trump who was building me up, supporting me, and empowering me to do my job,” Huckabee Sanders tweeted Thursday.

“The Trump presidency has been good for women. A Biden presidency will only set us back,” she added.

Trump has faced increased scrutiny from liberal women in recent weeks after nominating Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

“We are the hell and the high water. Donald Trump is leaving office, and there is no choice for him,” feminist activist Sonja Spoo said during a Women’s March in Washington, D.C., last weekend. “Come Nov. 3, it will because of women — especially black, brown, and Indigenous women – stepping up and saying enough.”

Another activist, Fatima Goss Graves of the National Women’s Law Center, said at the rally that Barrett will “undermine” women’s access to abortion.

“She will undermine our access to reproductive healthcare, to abortion, from voting rights to climate change. She refused to even answer basic questions,” she said.

GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel has also defended Trump, saying earlier this year at the Republican National Convention that Trump is in touch with everyday women, including herself, and works to promote them.

“Democrats started their convention last week with Eva Longoria, a famous Hollywood actress who played a housewife on TV. Well, I’m actually a real housewife and a mom from Michigan, with two wonderful kids in public school, who happens to be the only — only the second woman in 164 years to run the Republican Party,” McDaniel said.

“And unlike Joe Biden, President Trump didn’t choose me because I’m a woman — he chose me because I was the best person for the job. Four years ago, President Trump started a movement unlike any other. And over the next four days, we will hear from a few of the millions of hardworking everyday Americans who have benefited from his leadership,” she added.
