Once upon a time, West Virginia Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin actually had integrity. The man hailed from a red state, so he had to embrace moderate values to stay afloat. In the first two years of Biden’s administration, he opposed Joe’s radical spending and attempts by Senate Democrats to destroy our democracy.
But something changes just before the 2022 midterms. Manchin sold out the country by supporting Biden’s fake inflation bill. He did so to get a deal for a pipeline for West Virginia, which leftists in the House tanked. Since then, Manchin has lost all his backbone. And in a recent interview, he contradicted his previous statements and parroted one of Biden’s biggest lies.
During an interview aired on Tuesday’s broadcast of NewsNation’s “Cuomo,” Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) responded to a question on why people have a negative view of President Joe Biden’s handling of the economy by stating that “messaging is the biggest problem” and that Biden and Democratic majorities in Congress got many positive things done…
“First of all, I think messaging is the biggest problem. If you’re not basically laying out what you’re trying to accomplish, and then when you do accomplish it, you succeed at something. So, first of all, let’s take January 6, that happened, Chris, it was for real. The insurrection was for real…” [Source: Breitbart]
What a liar. Sen. Manchin echoed a false and pathetic claim by the White House about “messaging.” Democrats have long claimed the economy and everything else is great. So, why is Biden suffering from such terrible approval ratings?
Oh, it’s the “messaging” that comes out of the media. Yeah, it’s the liberal mainstream media’s fault that Biden is a failed president. It has nothing to do with the fact that Biden is a corrupt, senile fraud who is selling America to the highest bidder.
Manchin is cowering to a party that has betrayed him again and again. He is pushing the lie that Biden is actually a success… we just don’t know it!
He listed a few phony “successes.” Yet Manchin ignored the major crises Biden is singlehandedly responsible for. Such as the Afghanistan withdrawal that resulted in the deaths of hundreds. A crumbling infrastructure and supply chain. An open border that has let in over 3 million illegal aliens. Rampaging crime due to lawless policies by Democrats.
And let’s not forget rampant inflation, that is crippling millions of American families.
But, no Manchin, it’s the message that’s really the problem.
What Manchin has just admitted is that Biden’s lies are not working. Case closed.
