Former Sec. of State Hillary Clinton and former Pres. Bill Clinton, have both tested positive for covid-19. While recovering from coronavirus, Hillary requested Twitter followers for “movie ideas.” Twitter users quickly trolled her with suggestions such as 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.
“Well, I’ve been diagnosed with COVID. I’m experiencing only mild cold symptoms, but I’m fine otherwise. I’m even more thankful than ever for the protection of the vaccines against really serious illnesses. Please get immunized and boosted if you haven’t already!” she added.
“Bill is feeling fine,” the former Sec. of State said. “Movie recommendations would be appreciated!”
Some Twitter users recommended 13 Hours, a movie about the 2012 attack on the United States compound in Benghazi, Libya, when then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Obama administration were derelict in their duty to safeguard American diplomats and the U.S. House Select Committee on Benghazi alleged in 2016.
The final report from the committee in 2016 was made up of 800 pages of investigations and judgments, which also exposed how the Obama White House sought to deceive the public about the cause of the assault.
“It’s a classic. There are strong memories connected with it,” one Twitter user posted, sharing an image of the 13 Hours cover in response to Clinton’s post.
“You should see ’13 Hours,’” one person said.
Several users recommended the FX series Impeachment: An American Crime Story, which follows the events that led to Bill Clinton’s impeachment from the perspectives of Linda Tripp, Paula Jones, and Monica Lewinsky.
“This program has been fantastic! Based on a true story!” one Twitter user remarked.
The 2020 documentary, Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, was another suggestion. “Wild ending here,” perhaps alluding to a scene close to the end of the tv series, in which it is stated that flight records show Bill Clinton was on Epstein’s private plane at least twenty-six times.
“Bill Clinton has visited the island,” says a former Epstein employee in the documentary. “I saw Bill Clinton sitting on the porch with Jeffrey.”
D’Souza and Schooley’s 2016 film Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Dem. Party was suggested by many other Twitter users.
