Sleepy old Joe Biden will be delivering the State of the Union address soon. And this speech comes at a very bad moment for the Biden White House. His first term has been tainted by endless failure. Even now, Biden is fending off a classified documents scandal–which could bring down his entire establishment.
On top of that, House Republicans have been sharpening their knives. They have launched numerous investigations against Biden and his crooked agencies. Of course, Biden will ignore all of this and claim America is doing great. But he has another problem to worry about. A new poll reveals that most Democrats want him gone.
One term of President Joe Biden is quite enough for a majority of Democrats who are keen for someone, anyone to step forward and foil his stated ambition for reelection in 2024, a poll released Monday shows…
The polling numbers reveal just 37 percent of Democrats say they want him to seek a second term, down from 52 percent in the weeks before last year’s midterm elections. [Source: Breitbart]
This is pretty bad for old Joe. And these are not numbers his party was expecting. Just 37% of Democrats actually want Joe to run for re-election. That is down from 52% just before the 2022 midterms.
Among the many reasons Democrats want him gone include his legislative failures and his increasing health problems. Big surprise. Biden has bragged about his “wins” in Congress. But the major legislation he’s passed has done nothing to improve inflation and other problems.
And that’s not even getting into the growing signs of his dementia. Biden can’t get through a public appearance without sounding and looking out of his mind. Meanwhile, the party refuses to acknowledge this. Yet voters aren’t stupid. Most Americans believe Biden is mentally unfit for office.
But what will the party do? There is a strong push by establishment Democrats to keep Joe Biden. He’s a convenient puppet that will just do whatever the donors and special interest groups tell him to do. And it is a big risk trying to find a new candidate.
Chances are, the party will ignore this and other polls. Which could lead to disaster come November 2024. Republicans will nominate a strong candidate, you better believe. Perhaps even Donald Trump. Will Biden have the ability to stand up to Trump, after four years of failure?
Democrats won’t be able to use COVID to cheat this time! Biden will have to win on his own merits.
What does a candidate do when he doesn’t have any merits? And his own party doesn’t want him?
He loses.
