For many years, Hollywood celebrities have made a name for themselves by endorsing political candidates. Nearly all actors and stars have backed Democrats. The more radical and dangerous a candidate, the more celebrities demand we vote for him.
The media doesn’t mind when actors push for a Democrat. In fact, they expect it.
During a recent interview, Frasier star Kelsey Grammer discussed who he was backing for 2024. He intended to share his reasons for why he was refusing to support a Democrat. But that’s when the network decided to shut it down.
“Frasier” star Kelsey Grammer told the BBC that he is still a Trump supporter, which apparently caused the interview to end…
BBC interviewer Justin Webb spoke to the sitcom star in a recent interview, eventually pivoting to a political question, “You mentioned Roseanne early on, who had a great comeback, but also was a Trump supporter, you were, at least you were a Trump supporter, I’m fascinated to know if you still are?”
“I am, and that’s about all, let that be the end of it,” Grammer said.
Webb told listeners that Grammer was “perfectly happy” to elaborate on his support for the former president, but the “Paramount+ PR people” were “less happy that he talked about it.”
“But I should stress that he [Grammer] was actually perfectly happy to talk about why he supports Donald Trump and still does in the coming election,” Webb added. [Source: Fox News]
During an interview with the BBC, Kelsey Grammer revealed he continues to support Donald Trump for president. Grammer is one of a spare few actors in Hollywood who is openly conservative, though he is rarely vocal about his views.
After saying he continues to support Trump, the interview abruptly ended. The interviewer Justin Webb, later explained Grammer wanted to share more about his support for the former president. But Paramount+, which has just launched the Frasier revival series, shut it down.
Had Grammer been a rabid Joe Biden fan, Paramount would have probably let him talk for hours. Isn’t it funny how a streaming network is willing to censor someone’s comments? Is it because they feared Grammer would offend potential viewers?
Or that they are letting their own bias decide what Grammer is allowed to say… and what he’s not allowed to say.
Something tells me that fans of Frasier will be eager to watch the revival series, regardless of the actors’ political views. Especially since Grammer is nothing like those obnoxious liberal celebrities, who blasted their ignorant opinions across the internet.
