Indicted Scum Bag Democrat Pulls Dirty Move – This is Really Unbelievable

The mainstream media might be trying to hide it, but Democrat Sen. Bob Menendez is still in big trouble. He remains in office and is refusing to step down. His party appears to be doing nothing to pressure him to leave.

All this, despite the fact he is facing serious charges of receiving bribes from a foreign entity. The man allegedly took money in exchange for influence from Egyptian businessmen.

This crime could land him in prison. It should be enough to sink his reelection bid. But he has come up with a “brilliant” move that might save his career. This should sicken anyone with a conscience.

Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) appears set to try to blame his wife, Nadine Menendez, for the federal bribery charges that the couple is facing, according to newly unsealed court documents.

“At trial, as part of his defense, Senator Menendez may elect to testify to communications with his wife that serve to materially decrease any inference of culpability on Senator Menendez’s part,” the motion states. “Senator Menendez will explain, for example, what he and his wife discussed contemporaneously with their dinners with Egyptian officials (which colored his understanding of the purpose of such dinners); the explanations that Nadine provided for why [co-defendants Wael Hanna and Jose Uribe] had provided her certain monetary items; the reasons why he sent his wife a series of questions that other Senators purportedly intended to ask an Egyptian official; and many more topics.”

The 70-year-old senator is planning to show the “absence of any improper intent on Senator Menendez’s part” by “demonstrating the ways” that his wife “withheld information from Sen. Menendez or otherwise led him to believe that nothing unlawful was taking place,” the document continued. [Source: Daily Wire]

Wow. According to newly released documents, Democrat Sen. Menendez might blame his wife for the supposed bribery and other crimes he is being charged with. Documents allege that Menendez had no knowledge that anyone unlawful was taking place—and that his wife misled him the entire time.

There does not appear to be enough evidence to prove this claim. The Feds have Menendez using his influence on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to help three businessmen. It might be hard for him to prove ignorance, when he was on that committee, not his wife.

On top of that, he is also being charged with helping secure a big investment for a friend from the Qatari government, in part by taking actions to help Qatar. Not sure how his wife was a part of that.

He is also being charged with conspiracy, obstruction of justice, a public official acting as a foreign agent, bribery, extortion, and honest services wire fraud. It seems the claim that this was all his wife’s doing will not be enough to sponge away all these charges.

It is unknown what his wife thinks of this move. But it is likely most Americans will be appalled at Menendez’s actions. To throw his wife under the bus to save his own skin… that might be the lowest of low.
