Joe Biden has been fighting off calls to resign since the presidential debate. Many Democrats, as well as regular Americans and independents, believe the president it too cognitively impaired to run for a second term. Biden, his family, and establishment Democrats have dismissed these calls for Joe to step down.
What is particularly alarming, though, is that the White House is stonewalling concerns over Biden. This isn’t about politics, this is about a presidential administration lying to the entire country… and world.
It looks like Biden might get what he wants. Some Democrats are backing down. And without a good replacement, the party might not be able to remove him. But that doesn’t change the fact that most people now believe Biden is too unwell to be president. And comedian Jon Stewart expressed exactly what many are thinking right now.
On Monday’s broadcast of Comedy Central’s “Daily Show,” host Jon Stewart stated that the dismissal of concerns about President Joe Biden’s age “also erodes confidence and faith in the system of government. Get on board or shut the [bleep] up…is not a particularly compelling pro-democracy bumper sticker,” and stated that Biden’s campaign has been massively dishonest with its spin about the debate…
He added, “But then it got worse. Rather than respecting the American people and having an honest, at least partial conversation about what we had all seen, we were told, immediately, these are not the droids you’re looking for.”
Stewart then turned to excuses for Biden’s poor performance and said, “[F]or a campaign based on honesty and decency, the spin about the debate appears to be blatant bullsh*t. And the redemption tour hasn’t gone that much better.” [Source: Breitbart]
Liberal commentator and comedian Jon Stewart blasted Biden and his campaign—and by extension most of the Democratic Party—for ignoring Americans’ concerns over Joe’s health. He criticized the president’s response to calls for him to step down. Stewart even fired a shot across the bow of the party, when they essentially told voters to “shut up” about Biden’s health.
Stewart is accusing his party of jeopardizing democracy and even coming off as hypocrites. But this isn’t new at all to the rest of us. When Americans questioned the validity of the 2020 Election, we were told the same thing: “Shut up or you’re in trouble.” Not very democratic of the Democrats, Joe Biden, and the media, huh?
Now, Biden is so sick, even his supporters know he can’t run. And the party is again telling us to get in line… or else. Biden might get his way, because there just isn’t enough time to find a viable replacement. But that doesn’t change the fact that he’s too sick to be president—and he risks losing millions of votes because he is ignoring what everyone knows to be true.
Stewart is simply saying what millions are thinking. Biden is unwell and his party is going to great lengths to hide this fact—and shame anyone that disagrees with them. Not only is that grossly dishonest and hypocritical, it is a very dangerous threat to democracy.
