The Biden administration is full steam ahead with its war on the Second Amendment. Biden has failed to get Congress to pass any meaningful gun control laws. But if he wins back the House in 2024, all bets are off.
Meanwhile, the administration is abusing the power of the ATF to find ways of restricting your gun rights. The agency has revoked the licenses of hundreds of gun sellers, much more than both Obama and Trump combined. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Biden’s true goal is to make it impossible for Americans to get their hands on firearms, ammunition, and other resources.
His braindead vice president is supporting a new ban on “assault weapons.” Of course, that could be semi-automatic rifles, but it might also include anything considered an “assault weapons” which, of course, is all guns.
Kamala took to X to dunk on the NRA. But the gun rights organization quickly gave her a history lesson.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) issued a blistering response to Vice President Kamala Harris arguing President Biden will ban so-called “assault weapons.”
“@JoeBiden has taken on the @NRA and won. He can do it again,” Harris tweeted Tuesday evening, accompanied by a campaign ad celebrating Biden’s determination to “ban assault weapons.”
The NRA shot back in exclusive comment to Fox News Digital on Wednesday that Harris needs a history lesson on Biden’s work in the 1990s to ban so-called “assault weapons.”
“Vice President Harris should learn her history before going on social media. She’s referring to Biden’s 1994 vote for the ‘assault weapons’ ban as his big so-called victory,” NRA spokesman Billy McLaughlin told Fox News Digital. “Yet, thanks to the NRA, the ban expired in 2004. And, AR-15 ownership surged from 850,000 then to 25 million today.” [Source: Fox News]
The idea that the Biden administration can take away 25 million AR-15s from law-abiding Americans is laughable. Biden can’t even keep America’s lights on, but he’s going to rip 25 million semi-autos from Americans?
Kamala Harris, who is known for her word salads and total failures in office, took to X to brag about how Biden helped pass the “assault weapons” ban in 1994. She even claimed Biden “has taken on the NRA and won.”
Except, Biden wasn’t president in 1994. If anyone can take credit for that bill (which was revoked because it violated various constitutional rights) it would be Bill Clinton.
But the NRA humiliated Harris by saying she needs to go back to school. They pointed out that Biden’s ban was overturned ten years later, meaning he actually failed in the long run. Today, there are many more Americans exercising their Second Amendment rights than before. Many of whom own AR-15s.
Don’t be fooled, though. Democrats in blue states are aggressively trying to restrict ownership of semi-automatic rifles. And Biden will look for new ways to shut down your Second Amendment rights. The only way to protect them is to fight for them.
