Since President Trump started his daily briefings, the media has tried to undermine him. Despite the important information he was providing to Americans, the press looked for new ways to spread fake news about him. Yesterday a reporter for New York Magazine asked Trump a bogus question. To her surprise, Trump answered in a way she was not expecting.
Even in the midst of a crisis, the media continues their track record of fake and misleading reports. Oh, we’ve gone over the lies and misinformation already. It’s really just wasted words to go over how, even as Americans are reeling from COVID-19, the media continues its horrible job.
It’s gotten so bad, that Trump even mulled ending his daily briefings. And it seemed, over the weekend, that he’d do just that. But this Monday, he held yet another briefing in the White House Rose Garden. Once again, he extended an olive branch to the press. And, yet again, they trampled on it.
A writer with the leftwing New York Magazine asked President Donald Trump at a coronavirus briefing at the White House on Monday if he deserves to be re-elected given the fact that more Americans have died from the virus than did in the Vietnam war…

Wow. And the liberal media scoffs when we call them the enemy of the people. This woman must have thought she was striking a blow against this unjust tyrant, huh? She thought she could trip Trump up with this bogus, idiotic, and meaningless statistic. Do you want to know how many Americans die daily, on average (from all causes)? About 7,500. In six weeks, that’s over 500,000.
Nearly 60,000 Americans died during the last flu season. This reporter had to go all the way back to the Vietnam War to find a low enough number to criticize the president. It’s a non-statistic. Just a ploy by a hack reporter to score brownie points with her foaming-at-the-mouth colleagues.
But how did Trump respond? You better believe she was hoping Trump would lose his cool, so her cronies could cut clips of it and continue their campaign of fake news. Nope.
“Yes we’ve lost a lot of people, but if you look at what original projections were — 2.2 million — we’re probably heading to 60,000, 70,000 — far too many — one person is too many for this,” Trump responded.
“I think we’ve made a lot of really good decisions,” Trump said. “The big decision was closing the border or doing the ban.”…
Trump credited Vice President Mike Pence and the task force for their efforts, saying they’ve “done a fantastic job.”

There ya go. Trump didn’t take the bait. Instead, he humiliated the woman with a reasoned and dignified answer to a question meant to simple stir up anger. The “reporter” took to Twitter in a pathetic attempt to paper over her little scheme. She claimed her question wasn’t designed to “provoke.”
M-hm. Who assaults a sitting president with a question “do you deserve to be re-elected” and claim it wasn’t meant to provoke? Who even bothers with such a pathetic scheme, when the entire country is trying to claw back from this crisis?
A hack, that’s who. Someone with zero integrity, suffering from the poison of liberal journalism.
And if you don’t think that was a trick question, just imagine how the media would have responded if someone asked that to President Obama?
An honest reporter would focus on the facts—and how America will come back from this crisis.
But it seems there are no honest reporters left.
