Over the weekend, Iran took the unprecedented move to directly attack the nation of Israel. The rogue regime, which has been blamed for orchestrating the October 7th attack, fired over 300 drones and rockets at the Jewish nation.
President Biden condemned the attacks, but has urged Israel not to retaliate. The Israeli government does not appear to be willing to listen.
Now, Donald Trump is weighing in on the shocking event. He took to his social media network to air his views on Iran’s sudden attack on Israel. And he made a bold claim about what could have been.
Former President Donald Trump issued a statement in support of Israel after Iran launched long-range drones at Israel on Saturday.
In a statement on Truth Social, Trump emphasized that the attack on Israel “would NEVER have happened” if he were president.

Iran’s attack on Israel is reportedly in retaliation after Israel launched an airstrike on April 1, which reportedly left seven senior Iranian military officials dead in Damascus, Syria, and destroyed the consular section of the Iranian embassy.
The attack on Israel comes after Hamas launched an attack on Israel on Oct. 7, leaving roughly 1,200 people dead and more than 200 people taken as hostages. [Source: Breitbart]
Donald Trump responded to Iran’s attack on Israel by saying it “should never have been allowed to happen.” He followed that up by claiming if he was still president Iran would have “never” attacked the Jewish nation.
Many Americans will agree with the former president. While Trump was in office, we saw a growing sense of peace in the Middle East. Israel was forming relations with former enemies. Trump held Iran in check through strong actions, such as striking Iranian generals.
Trump discarded Obama’s nuclear deal and leveled heavy sanctions on Iran. Biden has failed to follow his predecessor’s example. Instead, he has seemingly gone soft on Iran, failing to negotiate a new deal while still lifting sanctions.
Biden even reportedly knew about Iran’s plan to attack America’s ally but did nothing to stop it. Now, Biden is trying to prevent Israel from retaliating, a move that will outrage many Jewish Americans.
Would Iran have attacked Israel under President Trump? That is hard to say, but we do know Iran didn’t attack Israel during Trump’s administration. But they did on Biden’s watch.
