I don’t have to tell you how much Democrats hate Florida. But they hate it a lot. Florida was once a prime swing state that Democrats tried very hard to flip blue. But, thanks to Gov. Ron DeSantis, the Sunshine State is unquestionably a red, conservative state. And DeSantis has wasted no time running with the ball, passing major reforms to protect families and children.
And for that, Democrats hate him.
Liberals have level all kinds of accusations against DeSantis’s Florida. But the reality is, they are upset that he has prevented leftist teachers from warping the minds of students. Democrats are mostly upset they can no longer groom children as young as five by hosting drag in kindergartens. Now, the NAACP is warning black Americans not to travel to Florida, claiming it is too dangerous for them.
Then this little secret came out.
The NAACP Board of Directors issued a statement on Saturday warning black Americans that the state of Florida was not a safe place for them and included an official “travel advisory” calling the state “openly hostile” – but the board’s chairman, Leon Russell, apparently lives in Florida himself…
The travel advisory goes on to warn black Americans that “Florida is openly hostile toward African Americans, people of color, and LGBTQ+ individuals. Before traveling to Florida, please understand that the state of Florida devalues and marginalizes the contributions of, and the challenges faced by African Americans and other communities of color.” [Source: Daily Wire]

Talk about hypocrite! If there is any place too dangerous in America for black people to go, it’s states run by Democrats. New York and Chicago are some of the worst places in the world for black people, because Democrats refuse to uphold law and order.
Florida, meanwhile, is full of kind, hard-working Americans (of all races) who respect their neighbors and obey the law.
Since when has the NAACP been lumping black people with the “LGBTQ+” community? I guess if you’re left-leaning, you have to support all the nonsensical groups that demand “representation.” But I’m finding it hard to find a connection between DeSantis’s decision to prevent perverts from hurting children in public schools and black people’s “safety.”
If Leon Russell thinks Florida is this bad, then why does he apparently live in Tampa? Or, at least maintains a residence there, according to his Twitter profile. You’d think he’d be on the first plane out of this “hostile” hellhole.
But something tells me he’s not about to sell his house and move to the Southside of Chicago. As usual, Democrats are spewing one thing and doing another. Florida is much safer for Americans of all colors, than most Democrat-run states and cities. That’s one of the reasons why so many Americans, including black people, are getting to Florida as fast as they can.
